This was a gift and I love it for travels. When I got it out to go this time the handles and straps are sticky and the color is coming off. The bag looks brand new button it is a trash. Can't even donate it.

Haven’t used it yet, but I can tell it’s going to be great for traveling. Holds just enough, including my iPad.

Great size. Many zippered compartments. Nice addtional wristlet.

All PROS: This METRO bag is great and I've had 4 of them over the years in Black, Brown, Black Cheetah and a summer Pink one. I am 5'0" and I can adjust the straps to fit me comfortably on my lower back and still allow easy removal. I just sling it off my right shoulder to access anything inside, then zip it up and sling it back on. The outside pocket is perfect for my cell phone. Inside is a slim, RFID protected wallet with 3 credit card sleeves. There is another outside pocket which is against your back when you are wearing the Metro. I used that for flat, lightweight items; but good for passport or other papers you don't want someone to have access to from the outside. I always wear as a backpack, so never zip the straps together; but I do unclasp a strap and wrap it around the chair back or arm when I'm out dining. That way I'm hoping if someone tries to remove [steal] the purse from my chair they won't make a quick get-a-way and will hopefully be stopped all together. When the Metro wasn't made for a short time I tried either the Essential Mini backpack or the Naples; but it was too long for me and the straps were not directly attached to the top of the purse but to a 3" tab so I couldn't adjust the straps to fit my body. I Only Buy the METRO version. They last for several years; but the straps start to crack and lose some "leather". I think it would be easy to replace the straps if they sold them separately; but I don't see that anywhere. BUY THIS BAG.

I have worn this purse for years! Finally bought a new one in a different color - not because the purse was worn out, but because I had used it for so many years!! I’ve never had the straps wear, the fabric doesn’t stain, and it’s just an overall great purse. I wear it as a backpack because of shoulder issues (wearing a purse on one shoulder just makes everything ache) and use the back zippered section to hold my phone. Easy to get to even with the purse on my back. This one is 10/10!!

I've carried this bag for 10 plus years! I simply love it! Light weight, versatile, well sized, plenty of compartments, holds up well and nice looking. I receive lots of compkiments. My only regret is the current lack of fun colors and fabrics.

I've had 3 Metro backpacks (bought 2, gifted 1), and have found it to be the ideal backpack bag for a petite person. The size is large enough to hold everything (wallet, hard-shell eyeglass case, small zip cases for all the little things one needs for commuting to work). The exterior zip pockets make accessing things easy. And like all Baggallini bags, it's lightweight, cleans up in a jiffy. The only thing that ever wears out is the edging on the straps.

I've had my metro bag for 10 years and it has only just started to wear. Some of the material on the handle is starting to peel and there is one nub in the zipper that sticks, but all of this started just this year. I originally bought my bag for a trip and it has served me well since then in any situation. I can carry my water bottle, light jacket, a book, phone, keys, wallet, lip balm, allergy medications, card case, passport, snacks, and more! And still close all the zippers! I'm looking at replacing my trusty bag this year with a new one but I bet I could still get a few years more out of the one I have.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this bag for a trip to Europe where I knew I'd be walking a lot. Front zipper for mobile phone and face mask, back zipper for keys to the house. Money and ID in the small RFID wallet that can be detached as a wrist bag. Good pockets inside. Didn't quite fit my MacBook Air, which reminded me I was on holiday - yay!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this bag. It has great pockets and the security measures are awesome. The wallet clips in the bag and the flap covers the zipper. I noticed one of the reviewers said it didn't fit a small body but it fit mine just fine. I'm 5'3" and 110LB's.

This is a great backpack purse, small but with good pockets, big enough to hold a small umbrella, sunglasses, wallet, and cell phone easily. However, I wish the original version of this bag were still available, without the leather. I could more easily pack that bag in a suitcase or briefcase when I was traveling. The leather makes this one a little stiff and bulky to be as packable, but it's still a great bag. Unfortunately, my strap broke on that one. I hope this new one also lasts 10+ years! Baggallinis are the best!

I so wanted to keep this backpack because it was perfect except the straps were too long. Even after adjusting them to the shortest position the backpack hung too far away from my body. I'm 5'4" so not exceptionally short. Seems to be a design flaw as this happened with the Memphis backpack too.

I have been searching for a crossbody convertible for awhile; one that is casual, but not "rugged" for hiking. This one is perfect. I'm incredibly happy with everything about it. I have an iPhone Pro Max -- which fits in the front zipper and main section, but not the back zipper section. I'm average height and weight (5'4", 135) and the straps are sufficient to wear as a crossbody or backpack.

I bought this to replace my very well used Urban backpack. The redesigned interior is wonderful. However, the shortened height of the bag and the webbing on the lower half of the straps are disappointing. Is this a cost cutting maneuver? Also, the magnetic clasp at the top is not effective. I’m considering cutting it off entirely. Not impressed.
