The Nordic Naturals Pet oil was recommended by my vet for our elderly dogs that were having mobility issues. I must say that within a week both of our dogs were able to jump up on the couch more easily. I am truly sold on this product as when we went on vacation; I opted not to add this to their meals that I was preparing (30 meals!) due to my being a bit lazy. When we came back from our trip; both dogs were having trouble getting up on the couch again. So back to giving them their daily dose of the Nordic Naturals oil and again within a week they had both improved! I will never let them go another day without this product!

I'm adding Omega-3 Pet to my senior dog's homemade food. I will continue to do this for a few months, and I will report back with the results. As of now, she's not rejecting her food with this added to it, so we are doing good!

I bought this a couple weeks ago for my dogs itchy skin. I haven't seen much improvement yet, but the vet told me it could be months. She does love the capsules though, first thing she picks out of her food and eats like a very good treat! 😀

This fish oil was purchased for my dog who has multiple heath issues. She doesn’t seem to mind it. My vet recommended that I cut the capsule and squeeze the oil out and then cut the capsule up and mix with her food. My vet says that often the oil coats the inside of the capsule so the dog is not getting the full benefit.

Primary reason was to supplement NSAID’s and Librella shot as they weren’t enough but not putting a 10yr old dog under for surgery. Ran out of NSAIDS and can’t tell the difference! Great ancillary benefit is how fantastic her coat feels!

My little doggy loves it. I do not have to mix it in food and he considers it a treat. He has joint problems and I tought this would be a better way to treat it instead of supplements that have titanium dioxide in them. This gives him no tummy troubles.

Thankfully, our persnickety pup doesn't mind this addition to his meals. It was recommended by our vet to address joint issues. I do wish there was an easier way to dispense it. We use a measuring spoon, but that means drips down the side of the bottle. A cap with attached dropper that reaches to the bottom of the bottle would be great. I'd purchase it separately if available ;-)

We love the product - more importantly our cat does!! The pipette to dispense is no longer part of the lid which means it has to be washed up every time. With this integrated in the lid we would rate as 5 stars

My vet recommended this product for my 15-year old terrier's skin. I had to get the liquid since he's too small for the gel cap. I don't know if he likes it or not since it's just mixed in with his food. He has arthritis, and we walk every morning until he starts to get lame, at which time he goes in his stroller. I've noticed that he is walking farther before I have to lift him into the stroller. Maybe it's the fish oil, and it might be good for his joints and heart too, so I'll continue with this product. Thanks to NN for making a nice product for our pets.

Charlie’s vet recommended Omega 3 as a supplement when Charlie’s arthritis was getting worse. I bought several bottles from the vet and have buying it from Nordic since ( saving money!). I noticed that he was walking easier and got up faster the first month- yeah! I store the bottle in his treat jar and he wags his tail when I open the jar! These are now Charlie’s treats in the morning. I have saved money on treats that weren’t healthy for him and they really have made a difference! I have referred friends to Nordic and they noticed a difference in their older dogs. Great product at a great price. I haven’t tried them for my kitty- but will after seeing that they are good for cats!

I have an 11 y/o Golden Retriever who is overall happy and healthy but was starting to limp and look visibly sore after longer walks (2+ miles) at first but then it started getting more frequent even with shorter walks. My mother in law recommended these and we started supplementing him (we do the capsules and he does fine with them) and the limping went away. I didn’t reorder for a few weeks after we ran out. The limping came back after walks and running, and he was also starting to avoid jumping into the car. Kinda breaks your heart watching them suffer. I reordered (stocked up for a few months so I don’t run out soon) and we saw noticeable improvements within 1-2 weeks again. He does really seem to have more energy overall. His coat has always been fabulous so I can’t speak to any changes there, but it’s truly worked wonders for his aging joints.
