Great warmth with no weight whatsoever. Wind proof, very packable, not a bulky down jacket. Hood stays on with adjustable cord. Wish I had purchased it sooner.

I debated about buying this jacket for awhile but am so happy I did! Love the fit, color and the warmth of this very lightweight jacket! The fit of the hood is also excellent- stays on my head much better than most attached hoods. Highly recommend!

Thank you for taking the time to sharing your review. We are sorry to hear that you are seeing down leaking from the seams of your Wanderweight Packable Down Jacket. This can occur as the down plumes are very small and they can work their way out of the small holes created by the stitching on the jacket. Washing and drying your jackets periodically will help reduce or eliminate this from happening. We recommend washing and drying the jacket following the recommended care instructions on the garment tag. The down filling will compact during the wash cycle. It is important to dry your jacket in the dryer following washing to dry and "refluff" the down insulation. For best results, we recommend placing 2-3 clean tennis balls in the dryer when drying your down items to help prevent the down from clumping together and allowing it to dry completely. Bought the Lands End Expedition coat a month before and love it. Bought the Wanderweight packable down jacket in the same size. Soo tight in the bust, had to return. Hip and waist area fine, and wanted this one because it has a hood. Color was fun but sizing was off. I'm 5'6 165lbs, 38DD bust.

I cannot believe how much LE quality has decreased. This jacket should be warm enough for Florida but it certainly isn't! It is see-through and paper-thin. So disappointing. It looks great, though.

I own two of these jackets and really love them. Despite their light weight, they are very warm--plenty warm for 95% of the weather in the PNW. The only downside is the hood. It does not have anything to secure it, so if it is breezy, it won't stay on. Other than that, worth every penny.

I recently bought this jacket in cornflower. Beautiful color. I love this jacket's fit as I have a black one and a white one that I bought last year. However, this particular jacket has an awful mildew smell. My husband suggested I wash it which I did. At first it did not smell but then the mildew scent returned. It's very strange since the other 2 jackets I bought last year do not smell. I would give this jacket a 5 star if not for the awful smell.

I bought this jacket a couple of months ago. The color is nice(lilac) and fit good (1x) HOWEVER, I tossed it in the wash today as directed. I only had the jacket and some towels for protection. Put in dryer on low. ALL the down clump!! the jacket is basically unwearable now

The down insulation will clump together when you wash the jacket. We have found that using 2-3 clean tennis balls in the dryer during the drying cycle will help to break up the down allowing it to dry completely and "refluff" to its original state. At this time, we would suggest washing your jacket again and then dry your jacket in the dryer on a low heat setting with the tennis balls. What a wonderful jacket she cannot wear. Just the right from fitting, the color enhances here hair and complexion and fits snug in all the right places on her. The almost perfect Christmas gift had she not almost immediately started allergic reaction. Some decades ago, they stopped whatever engaged some folk’s allergies as my wife has two coats that are feather/down. No issues. So disappointed. It’s such a wonderful jacket. But I have to return it.

Purchased this jacket for a trip to Spain. While I tried it on back at home, the odor wasn’t obvious until I wore the coat for an hour into our trip and I’m now stuck on vacation with a coat that smells like mildew and wet dog. Lands End…you need to do better. I’ve now read many reviews with the same complaint and 100% regret this purchase. Where is your quality control for a known issue???? I’ll be contacting you for a return and full refund as soon as I arrive back home. Disappointing.

The coat is cute, but the “dusk grey” is not grey at all, it really is beige. Also it runs big. I’m 5’4, about 127 and normally I wear a small, but this small is not slim fitting as advertised, probably would fit an XS better, but don’t want to go through the hassle and expense to return. Now at least there is plenty of room to wear a heavy sweater underneath if needed.
