TENA Complete +Care Incontinence Briefs, Moderate Absorbency, Unisex

We bought these after using two other Tena briefs that were satisfactory. The previous models were not shown on the website so we used this one. It is not satisfactory. It does fit well, but the sticky tabs wear out very quickly so that the diaper cannot be re-used more than a couple of nights. Since we use them as a precaution only, it can get expensive quickly. We have not had a chance to test absorption so far. The worst issue is that the patient is irritated by the diaper material, and has an itchy welt on the left hip about where the elastic seam goes.

I had hoped these would live up to the Proskin line of briefs, but they don't compare. I only ordered them, because the company no longer sells those in the size XL that we need for my mom. The Proskin diapers are the best I've ever used. I realize that the absorption rating of the Complete Plus Care is two levels lower than the Proskin, but I had purchased booster pads to make up the difference, so that wasn't the concern. Most elderly people don't drink much water, so others may find the absorption capacity sufficient for their needs. My mother drinks a lot of water and other beverages all day! The only other concern is that they caused a rash to occur on my mom's skin where the band went across her belly. I switched back to the cheap diapers we got from hospice, and the rash went away. So, I'm afraid I cannot recommend these to anyone. PLEASE BRING BACK PROSKIN XL!

This is a good product, better than others I have tried, but I still get a leakage in crotch area at times when I have heavy discharges as result of diuretics I take. I continue to use this product.

I bought these for my elderly mother who, at the moment, is confined to her bed. We both really like them. For me, they're easy to change and I don't have to fiddle with multiple tabs. They hold a lot of urine, but it doesn't sit against her skin and cause irritation - though to be honest, I always make sure she has a zinc ointment block as well. For her, they're comfortable, even as she changes position in the bed. She feels that the fit is secure and now that she's starting physical therapy, they won't fall off as she's trying to stand and work with the therapist. These aren't the cheapest briefs, but having had to use drugstore brands, they are far superior and worth the price. I also like the stripe that shows that there's wetness without having to take everything down. If you're not a pro at changing adult briefs on your loved one, just a word of advice. Roll the end that you're placing under your loved one's bottom. My mom rolls onto her left side, I roll the securement up, push it gently under her hip, position the rest and then have her roll onto her right side. I'm then able to unroll it and position it and there's much less friction on her skin.

These disposable briefs are the same ones used at my Mother's personal care facility. Her brief is changed during the night while she is sleeping and this style of brief with the side tabs is easier to get on and off without waking her up completely. For extra protection, we do put a sanitary pad in the brief and protect the vottom sheet and mattress with a disposable chuk. I highly recommend Simply Medical as they have the best price for these briefs and ship very promptly.

Was skeptical with how thin these diapers were, but they held up well.

Really the best fitting with prevention of leakage of any I've used thus far in some 5 years or more. Very comfortable with GREAT capacity for absorption,n eatly packaged for shelving etc.

I found the tabs hold very well on the sides, and the diaper absorbs amazingly well for as thin as it is. When you first touch it, you think "this will never hold anything". But much to my surprise, I held a lot with no leaks. My complaints are #1-cloth backed is just not as good as plastic backed. #2 the diaper could be a little taller for my body. While the tabs fit ok and held well, the diaper was very low and felt like it would slide down off of me. The sides were almost on my hip sides instead of higher up. And being used to the Super Stretch, these sides are not very stretchy compared to those. So getting a tight fit was not so easy. So far I have tried 2 of them and they have not failed me. Tena please bring back the plastic backing, and make the diapers a little taller and you have a winner.
