Yaktrax Walk traction cleats are a lightweight and easy to use solution for reducing the risk of slips and falls while walking on slippery snow and ice. A highly elastic outer band easily slips onto shoes of all types for a secure fit, making them perfect for pedestrians, professionals and the elderly on their way to work, school, or even just the mailbox. Traction is provided by abrasion-resistant 1.2 mm steel coils. The patented coil design provides 360 degrees of traction on cold surfaces for stability in all directions.

I received 2 pairs with the velcro strap for Christmas. On each pair one of the metal straps on bottom have broken. I now have one pair. They didn't last long!

These work great for traction on packed snow and ice. The problem is the elastic components are way too thin and wear out and snap too easily. Would be a great product if the elastic parts were thicker.

I loved these until the ripped after a cpl months (maybe 10 uses). They're pretty grippy, saved me from falling more than once. I do wish they stayed on better when walking in the snow. I can't tell you how many times I've had to turn around and follow my trail, digging through snow the entire way. And I'm not talking about deep snow either, that is understand. But despite that I still put them on when needed and they help. I'm just bummed that the rubber doesn't last longer. I think they should last more than 10 uses.

My daughter bought me a pair of yantras however I’m not too happy with them. I have had them for two and a half months and already the wee things are coming apart. I’m an 83 year old woman so you know I have not abused them, and so I thought I’d let you know I’m afraid to wear them outside. I live in Montana lots of snow and ice. Thank you

In theory these are great… as long as they stay in fantastic.. my challenge is I wear them hiking in the woods and I always seem to lose them. It would be great if there was a way to slip it on like a sock over your shoe so they can’t move and don’t fall off.

Walk with more confidence on the ice and snow with the Yaktrax. I live in the hilly countryside and walk daily. Earlier this year, I wiped out 3 times on ice I didn't see under snow. Since I've almost made it to the 70's mark, I started worrying about consequences of falling. A friend told me about Yaktrax, so ordered them. First time I wore them while walking, I again could walk faster and not worry about what is under the snow!

I bought these several years ago following a knee replacement surgery. I was terrified to take the dog in the Minnesota woods due to the ice on the trails. I attached the Yaktrax to my boots, and have never looked back. I have neither slipped nor fallen. I feel extremely secure, and highly recommend this product.

I think these work great. I’m still careful when I walk on ice with them but definitely feel safer. I bought another pair for my granddaughter who is afraid to walk on ice. I think every senior and even kids should have a pair for winter.

I have had mine for 4 yrs or so. I can walk down hill on car driven roads of packed snow. There is no chance you will slip and fall with these on. However you must be very careful walking indoors on commercial floors as you can easily slip. But outside on ice you are the boss. I wouldn't and at 70 shouldn't leave home without them. Worth every penny of their cost especially if you know what its like to slip and fall on ice and snow.
