My daughter is super excited about this mat. People were NOT joking about the initial smell though. We had to put it out in our garage to air out for a week before brining it inside. Otherwise it’s a great mat that is cute and fun for her.

- The first time I used this mat the painted design rubbed off on my clothing and skin!!! - No, I was not sweating; one shower and 2 pool swims later I still have blue patches on my skin. My kids love to use these mats for more than just yoga at this point! They’ve got such a cute design and work so well for any floor activities. I didn’t look at measurements before we bought it so I was excited about how big it actually is!

I purchased this mat for my daughter, so she and I can do yoga together at home. She loves the cute owl design. It is every lightweight for my seven year old to carry. My daughter loves this mat. The design is super cut and the colors really stand out. This will be her first yoga mat, and she has already told me how comfortable it is. Her first yoga session was so much fun, and she really has the most unique mat in the class. The mat stays in place and does not slide around.

I bough this as a gift for my niece. I was hesitant at first about the dinosaurs , as my sister tends to keep her attire mostly 'traditional'. anyway, this theme is UNISEX for sure. The colors of the dinos are so vibrant and they actually help her focus on asanas such as downward dog, as it gives her somthing to look at. overall, wondeful purchase and I plan to buy more kids mats. *review sourced from Gaiam

I have a Gaiam Yoga Mat and I am happy with it, but this one seems lower quality. It smells quite potently of chemicals when you unroll it and is thinner than my other yoga mat (which had a similar price point). I think it will be fine for my son, but was surprised to find it was lower quality than my other mat.

Love, love this yoga mat! Bought it for my 3 year old son, who would hang all over me and try to do poses whilst I was doing my practice. He is so excited about it and it just makes both of us happy to see the beautiful print and color on the mat.

My nephew loves this mat. I bought it for him for Christmas. I am a yoga teacher and everytime my nephews come over they want to do yoga with me. They are 5 and 7. The mats are a great size, they are plenty long enough and a little more narrow than a regular mat. They do have that stinky smell that lots of yoga mats have when you first get them.
