Lands' End Women's Starfish High Rise Wide Leg Pants

I purchased a pair of starfish high rise wide leg pants (MP - I’m 5’ 3” and the petite is the perfect length) and was very pleased with the fit. The wide leg falls nicely all the way down the leg and hides any “bumps” and minimizes the look of wider hips. Very comfortable and seems to wash quite well. I bought a second pair.

These are the only pants I now wear. My life would be so complete if Land's End made these in a dark charcoal and a dark brown. I wear them to work everyday and even on the weekends. I'm not lying when I say they are the only pants I now wear.

I bought the navy and I like the look. Now I am buying the black. I wish there were more color choices like light blue and white.

Purchased in February. Nice color, perfect length for a petite pant. Can be dressed up or down.

I love these pants! They fit well, and the material is wears well...but deflects crumbs, lint, etc

I am loving this pair of pants! I have very large legs due to having Lipedema and have a hard time finding pants that will fit them and are also comfortable. So, I'm very excited to tell you these are PERFECT. They actually fit my waist, hips and my large legs. They feel wonderful. I like the wide waistband, also. I'm just waiting for you to get the black pair back in stock in my size (18) and I'll get them!

Why isn’t there a tall option? Some reviews mention the “longer” length of these pants—Some for some against. But the reason I have stayed with LE for over 30 years is bcs of the sz options. (Many of us go up and down over the years!) I do not consider myself a “tall” person, but I detest pants that are too short bcs I am larger on the bottom, so a longer silhouette is more flattering. I love Starfish pants. They are my go-to now that I am retired. These wide leg pants are fashionably current right now so I was excited to see LE offer them, thinking I would be able to get a pair that fit AND are long enough. You don’t often see wide leg pants worn too short unless they are a crop style. So WHY didn’t LE bring out a tall version? For those complaining about pants being too long, I’ll just say this: it’s very easy to shorten pants, either yourself or take them to an alteration place at your local mall. BUT, rarely can you lengthen pants. Depending on the pants, I have shortened the LE Tall and have been very happy with them. I need that extra length. PLEASE LE: bring in the Tall size for these great styled pants.

I own several of the styles of these. I like them except NO POCKETS Why ? I don’t understand.

I bought 4 pairs this winter. They are warm and fit perfectly. I recommend you buy these pants.

So disappointed. Not the quality I expected. Pants lost their shape after a short wear. Washed in cold water on delicate. Pants went from black to navy. Would not recommend.

I love these pants but sizing can be hard to figure out since they aren't available in stores. The regular length is extra long on my 5'5" frame in the black and charcoal gray colors. The petite fit perfectly but what are true petite shoppers going to wear if the petite fits a person of average height. Oddly. the evergreen petite fit like a true petite so they were too shore for me. There was too much buying and returning to find the right size.

I bought the black and blue. I absolutely love the fit and style,BUT the black faded after on wash on cold and hanging dry. I have NEVER had this experience with any other LE item.

Great pants. Better than the starfish mid rise straight leg pants. Yes they are longer. After the first wash and a light dry they were exactly 29 1/2 inches at the inseam. I ordered medium petite. I am 5 ft 2 inches, and, in bare feet, they cleared the floor by about 1/4 inch. I wouldn’t wear them with a very flat shoe like flip flops or ballet flats, but with a thick soled athletic type shoe they are fine. Very comfortable with the higher waist. Here’s the most important thing- the little pocket with the zipper is back! I can’t be sure all will have the pocket, but my MP deep sea navy pants have it!! Yay!

I ordered this in my usual size of 8 petite. The pant legs dragged on the floor and were at least 1 1 /2 inches too long. I'm thinking Lands' End has changed it sizing as it seems everything I order these days is too big or too long.

Bought to have a wide leg pant after foot surgery while my foot is encased in an air cast boot. Perfect! They are wide & stretchy enough to get on over the boot (cannot take boot off yet) and wide enough to also flow over it once on. Also, nice to have an option that’s not sweatpants in case I need to go out at all. Would have loved pockets, but appreciate the intent to have a slimmer silhouette

I have been looking for wide leg pants that could span both casual time and wear to work. These do those jobs well. I do wish they had pockets, and I am hoping they hold their color well because they are getting a lot of use.

So comfortable like all the Starfish pants. Offers a modern silhouette to a basic wardrobe piece.
