Description
Voltage Regulator Module (VRM) is one of the most important parts of a motherboard, these modules supply the CPU and other components with clean and stable voltage, thus it’s of great importance to keep the temperature of these module cool as it can provide a better power delivery, overclock-ability, and better overall performance. By understanding the importance, SilverStone created the FDP01, which is a fan adapter bracket designed to provide direct airflow cooling to the motherboard’s VRM. It supports 1 x 80mm or 2 x 60mm fans and is mounted on either a 120mm or 140mm fan. If you’re experiencing problems from VRM overheating such as crashing, resetting or BSOD, or you’re simply needing extra VRM cooling for overclocking, then FDP01 would be the perfect solution for direct mounting on to your current build configuration.
