Q: what's the max amount of line and pound test on this item

A: The reel has a capacity of 135 yards of line that is equivalent to 12 lb. diameter monofilament. Larger diameter line will result in a lower capacity. The maximum drag rating is 20 lb. It is recommended to balance the line on the reel to the rating on the rod that you are using.
