3.5 stars. I like how much protein is in this, but it’s somewhat bland. I have been adding salt, pepper and oregano to it to make it more interesting.

This was a good flavorful canned soup main ingredients are Water, Lentils, Tomato Puree (water, tomato paste), Chickpeas, Roasted Red Bell Peppers. That’s why it has such a great flavor. Healthy lunch option.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sad leave me and my husband ate this for lunch and he threw the can away so I was unable to take a picture but this soup was absolutely delicious and it beats not having to soak the lentils overnight! I will definitely be buying this again and when I do all update the picture.

However, I did not like that a can also comes with 1440mg of sodium, which is 63% of the recommended daily sodium intake. I ended up diluting the soup with water in order to reduce the saltiness. The flavor was okay, but I likely will purchase it in the future due to the very high amount of sodium.

The flavor was on point and the only thing is the sodium there was a lot of salt. I try to stick with something that is 500 or below but overall it was delicious. I don’t usually buy can soups but if in were to this would be the one to purchase.

Can add extras to it if you’d like such as carrots or meat. However, it’s fine on its own hot or room temperature.

You can make this very quick if you are in a rush and have no time to cook a meal in a stovetop using a pan.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Since this is 19oz, half a can is enough to satisfy hunger. I microwaved mine for 2 minutes as I did not want it super hot. The lentil were nicely cooked, but the chickpeas were still a bit undercooked. A few more minutes in the microwave may do the trick. Another possible way to eat this is perhaps to blender it for a more creamy texture. It’s not too salty despite the sodium content. This is a great way to eat a more vegetarian friendly soup. I would try their other lentil soups in the future, but would also look for a reduced sodium option.
