My husband does the painting in our household, he was extremely excited to use this brush. He had always heard that Purdy brushes are supreme. In fact he found that statement to absolutely be factual, it decreased visible brushes strokes, held the paint well for an even coat, and cleaned up Like no other brush I've seen. We will now only be buying Purdy brand paint brushes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this free with a HGTV paint bundle for my honest review. I liked the minimal packaging, and it was easy to open with a Velcro front. The bristles were soft and the handle was easy to hold. I was remodeling an old pine cabinet and this paint brush grabbed the paint easily and really got into the corners. The lines were crisp and seamless. Nice even application. Painting across each cubby it made clear precise coats and made for a nice consistent finish. I really enjoyed testing this and was happy with the outcome of my cabinet. Highly recommend.

I was able to paint a 4x8' doghouse on both sides and the back. 2 colors.. the brush was extremely easy to clean between colors, and I can honestly say, I can probably do another project using this same brush. This paintbrush was supposed to be used on furniture with furniture paint, unfortunately the paint was delivered damaged. I can only imagine the quality would have been exceptional. Instead I used it on plywood and was still able to get great coverage. It was extremely easy to use, had great coverage, and didn't take long at all. I would highly recommend this brush!

They are slightly pricy BUT they are so well made, and one brush gets the project done, so I know I can always trust them. This Nylox Purdy paintbrush is made for latex paint. It is 2.5 wide and perfect for all sorts of projects. I love the long handle and angled bristles! It makes painting cabinets, walls, ceilings, windows, and trim really easy. I used this paint brush to paint my cabinets, and it did a fantastic job. The best thing about this brush is that I didn't have any bristles fall out in my paint. The paint brushed on smooth and evenly and renewed my cabinets to look brand new again.
