Purex Free and Clear Liquid Laundry Detergent, Unscented, 150 oz Bottle

You do not have the smaller container anymore, the big one is so heavy to handle. I’m ready to switch brands.

I have a sensitive sense of smell so, for regular washes, this product is perfect for me. However, I recently tried using it to spot-clean a beige canvas bag and it left a bright white spot. I tried watering down the detergent slightly and gently scrubbing it over the entire bag, in the hopes that it would even out the color without damaging the image printed on the bag, but it didn't do much. I suspect that the white spot could have been prevented if I hadn't put pure detergent directly on the stain, but that's what the instructions say to do. On a positive note, this product left no chemical/perfume smell on my hands or the bag after handwashing it. It was also, surprisingly, less drying on the skin than the dish soap a use. Overall, I think it's a good product for the price. I would just be wary of using too much or using it to spot-clean anything that is not white.

I am delighted with this product as it cleans well and leaves no fragrance.

Did you guys change something recently in the ingredients? Since 2023 it has been bleaching out my clothing which never used to happen and also causing rashes and water bumps on my hands. These are the sets sold in Jamaica. I'm trying to find a way to contact Pyrex directly and can't seem to find one.

The instructions direct you to fill to line one. If there are any lines on the cap, I cannot see them-a silly flaw that could easily have been corrected by the manufacturer. Will be trying another detergent that is more user friendly.

The optical brighteners in this product have ruined hundreds of dollars worth of my cream/ivory linens by leaving bright white splotches all over them. It says on the bottle to use it directly on fabrics for stains, so I put some on a few swatches and it's definitely the detergent, not the washer, bleach residue, or well water. It unevenly deposits the optical brighteners, which are essentially dye. I used some ATSKO products that are supposed to help remove it, and cover it up, with limited results. It's a bargain, but I guess you get what you pay for.

This works great for my kid’s and lasts a pretty decent amount of time my daughter’s do their own laundry 🧺 so is the perfect size for them I recommend this laundry Detergent liquid

My wife and I were experiencing really itchy skin. Switched to Purex Freeand Clear..it worked. We have found Purex Free and Clear gives us most laundry loads for lowest cost with safest ingredients.

I find that this detergent gets stains out better than any other detergents. It also smells pretty fresh and lasts a good amount of time

I loved the product I've always been sensitive to laundry soaps and detergents anything with harsh chemicals will break me out in hives or rashy skin.not pretty but I tried purex free&clear it was new at the time I figured why not .but I loved it smells great no perfume smell or chemical smell and no rashes .I love it and and use it every day i would recommend to anyone with sensitive skin issues ..

One of the only detergents we use in this household! Works great and is hypoallergenic. Also usually a very good price!

I used Purex for years with no issues, as a single female I should add. However after having kids, it just doesn’t get the clothes clean. The price is nice until you have to wash the same pants three times before the dirt and grime are removed.

Such an underrated brand just as good as the leading competitors. I think it gets stains out and is gentle and close. Would buy again

I love this because my 11 year old has sensitive skin and it doesn't break her out !it has a very clean fresh scent.Its all I will wash her clothing and bedding in.love love love

I've used Purex brand Free & Clear Laundry Detergent a lot and it works pretty good. It's not the brands I would prefer but I would still would recommend it. It works well enough to get the job done.

I feel as though it doesn't really get the job done. I'd definitely like something that works on. Ahigher strength level than this detergent.

I love this product for my children. It's gentle enough to use on my young baby and cleans hard enough to clean my oldest child's clothing. A bonus is no strong smells!

We don't have sensitive skin in our family, but I do like the fragrance free so that I can smell the fabrics softener better. I have used Purex products for years, it's a great price and very good quality.

I just used this product once on 100% cotton clothing that I've washed for many years and it shrunk everything up by at least one inch. Very dissatisfied.

I use the ultra purex free and clear laundry detergent liquid whenever I want to wash white clothes, just to avoid any coloring or my whites becoming yellow.
