Q: how many meals can you get from a 3.5 lb bag for a 2 year old cat
A: I think it it really matters your cats eating habits and size. My cats are both about 5.5 lbs and are 11 months old. The two of them eat through this bag in about 2 or 2 1/2 weeks. I fed them twice a day with about 3/4 of a cup per meal. I also mix in wet food so if ur only doing dry food you will likely run out faster.

For cats weighing 5 to 9 lbs, we recommend 1/2 to 3/4 cups, while those weighing 10 to 14 lbs should have 3/4 to 1-1/4 cups. Keep in mind that these are averages, and individual needs may differ. Feeding amounts should be adjusted as necessary to help your cat maintain an ideal body condition. When introducing a new food, make the transition gradual over 7–10 days by substituting small amounts of the new food for the old. Fresh water in a clean container should be available daily, and regular vet visits are important for your cat's health.
