Purina Tidy Cats BREEZE Litter Box System Starter Kit Litter Box, Litter Pellets & Pads - 7.9lbs

I really love this litter box system, but I’m begging you to please consider making a large size, somewhere in between the regular and the XL. The regular size is a bit on the small side if you have larger cats, but the XL is so big that it doesn’t fit inside any litter box enclosures that are on the market. I feel like this would be a perfect system if there was an additional size offered!

I have been using this system since I brought home my current cat Bean, 5 years ago. He loves it as much as I do! He is a huge water drinker and pees buckets. I find that he pees in the same area in the box-a back corner- so that part of the pad gets filled fast and the rest of the pad is pure white. I might change the pad more than I need -every 7 days. But after 2-3 days I flip the tray so the peed part is now in the front and the fresh white area is now where he predominantly pees. I feel like it makes the pad last longer and be used completely. I change the pellets every 2-3 months. In between cleaning I wipe the green tray that holds the pellets with a paper towel sprayed with a drop of Dawn spray. My only complaint is that the whole box is like new but the green tray really needs to be replaced. Is it possible to replace that part without having to throw away the entire system?

I hate giving bad reviews but I must on this product. The smell is absolutely unbearable- and this is with changing the pad every two days. I did not mind spending extra money to change pop pellets and pads frequently BUT honestly that was not even enough to keep the smell down. Great concept but Purina is not representing this product honestly!

Amazing litter. No odor, not constant cleanup around the box and Bella took to it right away

Love this box for my rabbit! However it would be nice if we could get replacement parts for it. I need one of the new green trays for mine but they aren't sold separately.

Leaks. The urine leaks into the floor by the entry. I change the pad twice a week for one cat. I have to use potty pads in front of and under the litter box.

I came home today to find the litter box leaking urine on my hardwood floor which is now stained! I change the pad and pellets at the recommended intervals for one cat but despite that, urine leaked through the cheap plastic tray for the pad and was all over the floor. Very, very unhappy. Not only was it disgusting, but my hardwood floor will probably never be the same again. I demand compensation in some form.

It took my cat some time to use and he only urinates in it. I have to have traditional litter for him, too.

Overall very pleased! The Breeze system plus a litter genie has made life easier in my two-cat household. We scoop the solids into the genie every couple of days and change the pad once a week on trash day. Much less gross than clay litter, and while some pellets get kicked out there is less mess than pretty litter or other pellet brands. Needed the XL box for my enormous Bombay cat. Only issue is that I’d like to put the whole box in some sort of furniture enclosure, to add smell protection, but I can’t find one big enough, especially with the opening on the long side!

This litter system is a game changer. It pairs well with pine litter and minimizes mess. I'll get another if necessary. Thank you!

The litter system is too small for my kitty, causing msses. The design needs improvement for better functionality. Disappointed with the purchase.

Easy clean up, sleek design. However it absolutely does track. I find the pellets in rooms we dont have litter boxes in. I have no idea how they get that far. The pad system is wonderful and I feel like the change was overall a good thing for my 4 cats, but I am so tired of picking up the pellets everywhere. 1 have 4 of the XL systems. Maybe a swinging door or taller entry would he beneficial.

As an owner with multiple cats, I was hopeful that this system would make my life easier, but unfortunately, it fell short in several areas. Firstly, the claim that the pellets last for 30 days is completely misleading. With more than two cats, the pellets were quickly consumed, and I found myself needing to replace them frequently, which became quite costly. Moreover, the odor control of this system is severely lacking. The smell of urine is not only unpleasant but also difficult to eliminate. Even with regular cleaning, the system left behind a lingering and overpowering odor that was unbearable. In addition, the design of the system is not practical for multiple cats. The litter area quickly became overcrowded, causing my cats to avoid using it altogether. This defeats the purpose of having a litter system that is supposed to make things easier for both the owner and the cats. Overall, I am extremely disappointed with the Tidy Cat Breeze XL system. It simply does not cater to the needs of owners with multiple cats. My cats aren’t using it! I have half their regular litter boxes and then the new one and even sprinkled in some litter to help them. They will occasionally pee in it. Ive spent so much I want this to work any tips?

I LOVE this system after trying out 4 others initially. The tilting hood for cleaning or filling and the sloped sides are fantastic. What would be perfect is this style but slightly larger. I know there's the XL, but it doesn't have a hood and the opening being on the side rather then the front limits placement.

Using for 3 days. Today I noticed that urine is leaking out the side of the tray onto mat What’s up with that? I want to like it but this is unacceptable. Pad saturated in 3 days

My 2 cats love the Breeze litter. However, I’m forced to use the smaller litter box because my boy likes to poop towards the back, exactly where the opening is on the XL size, so poop ends up on the floor. Would prefer if the opening was in the front or even the center of the side wall.

I've been using the Breeze cat pads and pellet system for years and initially loved it. I remember when it first hit the market, it felt like a magical game-changer, especially since I was frustrated with cat litter scattering everywhere. The system worked perfectly; it minimized odors significantly as the urine went straight to the pad, and it performed excellently. I have two cats, and the pellets used to last about three months without needing a change. However, they recently altered the formula of the pellets, and the effectiveness drastically declined. Now, the odor control lasts only a couple of weeks, and by the month mark, the smell of cat urine and feces becomes unbearable unless completely covered by the pellets, which previously wasn’t an issue. It seems they changed the formula to increase the frequency of replacing the pellets, a disappointing move driven by profit. With a patent on the product, competition is stifled, preventing any improved versions from entering the market. Disheartened by this change, I'm considering switching back to traditional cat sand and not purchasing the Breeze system again.

I’ve used the regular sized Breeze system for many many years, I decided to splurge for the extra large model. It should be great however my one cat walks inside and pees straight out the opening! The other cat uses it with no issues. Also, I keep finding wee in the additional compartments next to peepad. I can’t figure out how it’s getting there but it’s getting there. Is there another tray option planned in the future that holds a larger pad? I’d hoped that this would help my aging cats but somehow it’s making a bigger mess. Does Purina make an add-on urine shield for entrance? Is there is a way to fixe these issues or should I abandon the whole system and go back to my old boxes :(
