Description
Purple Cowboy wines are a tribute to winemaking, rodeo-riding cowboys who were known for drinking so much wine their teeth turned purple. The Trail Boss Cabernet Sauvignon comes from cowboy wine country, Paso Robles, CA. The grapes are sourced from the eastern side of the AVA, which is warmer, drier and produces fruit-forward, full-bodied wines with soft tannins and balanced acidity. 100% of Purple Cowboy’s profits are donated to Tough Enough to Wear Pink and the battle against breast cancer.

I enjoy Cabernet Sauvignon, and enjoy wines that fit our MT lifestyle. This Purple Cowboy Trail Boss was something I tried, and ordered more for a dinner party with friends! We had steak, potatoes and salad dinner, and it was a hit! I will order more for the future! Great wine at a good price!!

We had Cast Iron steaks and the Trail Boss Cab. A perfect combo. A little blackberry, a little licorice and some oaky flavors make this one "dang good" red wine. And $10.99 to boot. No regrets.

Purple Cowboy wines hail from Paso Robles, a California wine-producing region with a reputation for producing outstanding Cabernet Sauvignon. Purple Cowboy is an easy-drinking wine, full-bodied without harsh tannins. I tasted blackberry and plum with a vanilla note. At $10.99, you get a lot of bang for the buck!

This Trail Boss Cabernet from Purple Cowboy exhibits jammy, black currant, oaky, and vanilla flavors on first taste. After the bottle settles a bit the fruitiness dissipates leaving the wine to become a nice easy drinking Paso Robles Cab with mild tannins and a soft acidity. Pair this medium bodied cab with burgers, short ribs, a nice try-tip, or just some kick back binge watching on the tube.

The Trail Boss is the Boss. Husband loved it, son loved it. I loved it. I would put this in the Bargain Red Blend category. Good Value, good wine, good taste!

We had this tonight with our dinner. The wine is smooth and tanic. Paired well with our burgers and onion rings. I will buy this again and serve to guests.

The family enjoyed this good Cab with our Sunday night steak dinner. It was a bit fruit forward, medium tanins and just plainl complemented the T-bone steak we enjoyed.
