A: Hello! Our usage and care advice states that Pyrex should not be used to microwave popcorn or heat foods in browning wrappers. Microwavable popcorn bags and browning wrappers are specifically designed to concentrate heat in specific areas, which could potentially damage the glass.

Q: Is the pyrex bowls really microwave safe? I keep seeing articles saying it is not recommended to use these bowls in the microwave or oven. Glass is not made with the same material as in the past.

This bowl is beautiful, I use it for just about everything. I originally bought this so I could make a double boiler for some melting chocolates, but I ended up using this bowl for everything from storing homemade pizza dough while its resting to storing homemade scones after they’re made.

It’s GORGEOUS! I think the label will be a bear to remove. :(. Got this for a salad bowl. It’s nice size and a bit larger than my old Pyrex 2 qt, so there is plenty of room to toss. Hope it lasts decades like my other Pyrex I inherited. Of course it’s also oven proof. I plan to get the whole set. It survived Target shipping!

The yellow is barely a yellow. It’s more of a beige ish hue. For me this was actual better I love the color but I can see someone being upset so definitely keep this in mind. Quality is great. Design is great.

It’s soo pretty and love that it’s glass. I will say I’ve used it once and the top is already stained on the inside (sazón). Beware of spaghetti sauce and things like that. I tried some hacks to clean it and they did not work lol
