I always avoided instant oatmeal. Big Mistake! I was in a rush and saw this in my pantry. Such a pleasant surprise. It is easy, quick, and the taste was very good. My love for Quaker has been renewed. Thanks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used to love this oat meal so much, it was a part of my daily healthy breakfast. But now, the packets seem to have shrunk and the prices went up, and honestly the quality got bad. I hate to let go of my childhood food, but it's not worth spending the little money I have. Goodbye Quaker oats, and good luck to those who to pick a route with it.

I made the switch to the original instant oatmeal trying to cut out unwanted ingredients - especially extra salt and sugar. Unfortunately, the packets I have bought & made have been way too salty. Has more salt been added to the packets?
Disappointed less product less pakages.

Normally I would not bother with a review. One packet would generally be enough. Nope not anymore! Now I use 2 packets. Do you think we don't notice?? I am now turning to another alternative breakfast.
Does Quaker even have a quality control department

It's shrinkflation, but instead of lesser quantity, it is a lesser quality. I realize that this process is all automated, but dial it back in. Things that once wouldn't pass, ie. Burnt bits, non-edible portions of the processed oats, are now perfect for filling the required weight per paper pouch. Very disappointing, once beloved, staple of winter. What passes for food these days is shameful.

I like breakfast food at night time and this instant oat meal is one of my favorite. I first microwave it with filtered water and add 2% fat milk. I’m not a huge fan of sweet foods so I add a pinch of salt and cayenne pepper. It tastes absolutely delicious!!!

I have been eating Quaker Instant Oatmeal for as long as i can remember. With the latest inflation problem, the company has decided to cut down the content of each individual envelop as well as putting 8 envelopes in a box instead of 10 like it used to be before this whole inflation thing. And on top of it all, the price of a box has increased !!!!! This is absolutely insane. After many many years of consuming their instant oatmeal, i decided to cut ties with Quaker Oatmeal. Enough is enough....This was a total insult to the consumer.

This variety of Quaker Instant Oatmeal definitely keeps me full and healthy. No sugar! :) I love it because it's nutritious, it contains whole grains, and it's healthy for your heart. I drop some unsalted nuts into my oatmeal and a dash of cinnamon powder. It is amazing and delicious! I love it because it definitely contains fiber, as well. I eat it daily!
Why does every box now have dangerous hard bits?

I have loved Quaker Instant Oatmeal Original for years and every bite went down smoothly. Now every packet has dangerous rock-hard bits after cooking and I have to suck each bite first to make sure I'm not wrecking my teeth and digestion by chomping on one or swallowing it. I thought maybe it was just faulty equipment for one or two boxes, but every single box I buy now has this gruesome problem! Why has your careful process separating the oats from their stony exterior changed?

Sometimes oatmeal really hits the spot. This is super easy to make, and easily make as thick or soupy as you like. I like adding some frozen blueberries for a bit of flavor.

I have to watch my blood sugar and I’m on the Mediterranean diet. Cut out white sugar and flour. A packet of oatmeal with a tablespoon of Natural peanut butter is delicious and filling. Sometimes I put in banana.
