Quaker State High Mileage SAE 10W-40 Motor Oil is designed for use in cars that have accumulated more than 75,000 miles. As your car ages, leaks may develop and cause higher oil consumption and burn off, which may lead to frequent top-offs. These leaks could be due to dry or cracked seals. Quaker State High Mileage SAE 10W-40 is enhanced with active seal conditioning agents to help stop leaks and reduce the oil consumption of older and worn engines. It keeps seals pliable to prevent leaks and oil loss. It is boosted with anti wear additives and additional friction modifiers for extra protection and friction reduction between moving engine parts.

Recently i started using this oil when my mechanic change my oil and right away my car drive so smooth and drive like new car it was just awesome the diffrence with this oil and price is very affordable not like all the other expensive oil and cant really tell diffrent .I use high mileage and ful synthetic [A+]100% satisfaction with this product

I usually run pennzoil high mileage in my 16 year old truck that has over 160k miles, but I wanted to give quaker state a try since they're also under the SOPUS umbrella and a little cheaper. I currently have about 500 miles on this oil change and I honestly can't tell the difference as my truck still runs just as smooth.

I PUT THIS IN MY 240K CAR AND IT BEGAN SMOKING ON START UP , I RAN IT FOR A WEEK OR TWO , EVERYDAY IT SMOKED LIKE A CHIMNEY AND WHEN I CHANGED IT AGAIN FOR CASTROL 10-40 SMOKING HAS STOPPED

I have a e250 cargo van with 427.000 miles on it. And use 10-30 in it always. Has not failed me yet! Hope to get many more miles

I bought this oil because I have tried every other high mileage oil and I have to say this is the BEST. My engine is running smoother and a lot less noise even from the dreaded piston slap that occurs on GM engines with high mileage. My advice is give this oil a try. I’m happy I’m sure you’ll feel the same.Thanks a million Quaker State for even coming up with a GREAT product.

As a professional machanic I stand by the quality of Quaker State oils. I have used Quaker State in all of my vehicles for as long as I can remember. It's the reason that I have been able to get over 500,000 miles on my Toyota pickup, 160,000 miles on my Toyota Camry, and my 1966 Mustang and they all run great. It also comes at a great price.

I purchased this oil based on a friend suggestion. I inherited a 1990 Volvo 240DL and one of my neighbors has an 83' 240 as well. He mentioned the Quaker State 10w30 and 10w40 for these types of cars. I was kind of skeptical about it because I'm more a Mobil oil type of person. My daughter and I did the oil change and when the engine was turned on, the motor was quieter than before and serene! The previous owner came by to see the car running and was surprised the quietness and smoothness of the engine... he told me he used Mobil synthetic blend when changing the motor oil.

Since I have not been able to find Quaker State Defy I have been using this oil in my 2001 Wrangler 4.0 with 131,000 mi and my son's 1997 Civic with 197,000 mi. Can't seem to tell any difference. Both vehicles run great and neither use any oil between 3000 mi oil changes.

I have a 1998 chevy PU. Changed oil to Defy 5w30 4 months ago still on the full mark. I purchased it in 2004 have always had to add oil before change. There is no oil on the market to compete with DEFY. Also no old engine oil smell. So muchof a great oil.

I like QS HM Synthetic Blend formally knows as QS Defy however I question the products advertising as "boosted zinc levels" or "Zinc is king" since it is an SN rated oil. SN governs zinc levels to be no more than 800 ppm. I wonder is QS technical support would respond with some information about this?
