Q: Is the height of the headboard adjustable? My concern is that there aren't enough slats to support the mattress... would I be able to remove the slats to insert a box spring inside the frame or is it suggested to set the box spring on top of the slats?
A: Hello, According to the directions, there are 4 slats supporting the bed and box spring. Typically, customers set the box spring on top of the slats. Thank you!

Q: Just bought a box spring and mattress for this and the mattress sits over the box spring. Do you have a box spring recommended to fit this? It looks terrible
A: It sounds like your mattress and box spring do not match well. Maybe you can exchange it for one you like better. They should have plenty on display. There are also mattress covers and some are padded. A bed skirt might look better as well.

Q: I don't have a box spring, just an 8 inch mattress, is the gap from frame to bottom of head board too big to where the bed will sit under the headboard?
A: This bed is a traditional frame designed to hold a mattress and box spring. We have several platform beds that come with slats. These types of bed frames do not require a box spring. You may want to search for a "platform" bed.
