This mattress pad made it feel like I have a whole new bed! It is memory foam, but it is firm enough to have good support. Definitely wait the 48 hours after it is in unbagged (as instructed)before putting on your bed because it tripped the size. The twin fits my twin bed perfectly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks to Influenster I received this Sleep Philosophy Gel Memory Foam Mattress Topper and I’m sleeping so much more at night. On set-up, it takes time (few hours or days) for it to get air in and shape to its form. It’s very comfortable. It takes shape to your body, and gives a cozy feeling, Seems like it’s made to hold you in place but comfortably. It kind of molds to your body. Once I lay there, it’s not that easy to adjust yourself like you do on a regular mattress. If you sleep with someone and you move around, you won’t wake your partner. It’s like each person has a dedicated spot. I feel like I’m on a high quality hotel bed. The bottom side has a grippy rubber so it doesn’t slide on the mattress and If it gets dirty it has a cover that can be easily remove for washing. This is also perfect like if you have an old mattress and you don’t have money to buy a new one just buy one of these foam mattress toppers and your bed is going to feel brand new.

But let's start at the beginning. It comes as a lot of mattress items do, vacuum sealed in a bag. Instructions say to unroll it ASAP after receiving it and to let it come to full rise for 48 hours if possible, kinda like sourdough for those of you that bake. The smells went away in that time, and I was left with an amazingly comfy topper that had me falling asleep in a jiffy. It was a hit with my cats as well.

So far it's holding up good and seems very durable. I have been looking for a good one for a while and when I got this I was so excited!!! It makes my bed so much more comfy and I've been sleeping so much better! I definitely recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Before I had this topper, I used to toss and turn all night. The Sleep Philosophy 3in topper added the perfect amount of comfort to my mattress. It fits perfectly on my bed with no overhang or gaps. The non sleep grip cover really helps it stay in place. I am a side sleeper and felt it supported and stabilized my hips, greatly improving my sleep quality. Unlike other memory foam toppers, this is not rock hard from being cold but is soft as soon as you get into the bed. What’s even better is that doesn’t get hot during the night. Definitely worth the buy!

Had the topper for over 2 weeks and many 6" edges would not expand. We have the same brand and model for our king bed and it is a 5star. Fortunately we purchased this from Target and the issued a return with a choice of replacing or full refund. Target gets a 5star. We are getting a replacement as normally this topper is a 5 star for comfort. We're crossing our fingers that the replacement will be good.

I purchased this topper for my son to go on his bed at school. It never inflated and had a sunken spot in the middle. I had to get him to haul it from college, 6 hours away so that I could return it and everything on the receipt was returnable for a year, except this horrible mattress topper. Target must have known that this topper was horrible. Don't waste your money. $80 down the drain.

I am not sure if it will help with relaxing back. It’s breathable for sure. It’s comfortable. It seems durable.

It took a few days to completely expand to the original form. Mattress is comfortable and has good support. It comes with a zippered removable cover which makes it easy for cleaning.

The zipper broke immediately. There is no stopper on the zipper so if you close it don’t do it all the way.

Comes folded lengthwise so you have a hunp down the whole middle of the bed. Not close to 3 inches and has quite a smell. Definitely not the quality of the other toppers we have purchased.

The topper is not 3 inches thick throughout. It has a corner that will not decompress and after 8 days of being out of the package it still has a dent and hump in middle of topper. I tried multiple things to get the mattress to flatten without success. I wouldn’t recommend the twin xl.

Comes with a removable cover so that it can be washed. Since I have a mattress protector, I won’t have to worry much about odors.

We didn't put it on the bed until it puffed and I wasn't sure it was going to make it to the bed because they laid on it right away and wanted it for the floor! Could definitely double as a sleep mat for sleep overs!

This mattress topper has enhanced my sleep. It is so soft and I do not get hot midsleep like I used too. It took about 3-4 hrs to get to size after unwrapping it. The price point is amazing and I love the 3m cover on which can easily be removed for cleaning if needed. This also made my bed look extra cozy with the extra height it added. As long as you have deep pocket sheets you should be good. With this on top it makes my mattress about 13in tall.
