A lot of mattress protectors are noisy--sounds like crunching paper. While you can hear some of this protector with movement, it's much less distracting.

We bought this replacement because my kid leaked on the bed. I am confident that this mattress pad would protect my mattress should more leaking occur. However, I hope that the leaks will not happen again. ...so much leakage.

This is my second purchase of a Protect-A-Bed mattress pad. I am very pleased with the product. Make sure you wash it out of the package , for this will soften the fabric up,

We finally had to replace our old protector. So, I looked around and found this to be the best one. It came timely, fit like a glove and has been perfect. We are very happy with our purchase.

Mattress pad definitely repells spills especially if you have an infant or toddler because it has a durable plastic like layer, but it just makes too much noise when willing around in bed. Overall, I would recommend to parents with potty training toddler(s) and infant(s).

For me it has been one of the best I've tried, since the others did not completely cover the mattress and it always had to be fixed. I recommend it and I will be buying for another for my girl's bed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mattress protector is amazing. I love that it's just a thin layer and is made out of cotton. It's bretahable yet waterproof. The material is also very soft so I wouldn't mind sleeping on it, but I prefer covering it with a sheet to keep it clean longer. My 4 year old sometimes sleeps with us and he still has night accidents every once in a while. I love know my mattress is protected without the bulkiness or crinkliness of usual waterproofing supplies!

I see that the company offers mattress protectors for bed bug protection. I may upgrade to that one in the future! Quality cotton material and I love the fact that it's hypoallergenic/allergen barrier for my husbands allergies. Returning customer for sure!!!

Very soft cotton fabric and with rubber waterproof lining, it feels cooler than other pads I had used. It fits perfect on the size. I use memory foam bed and it doesn't slide out of the mattress. I will recommend to family with children and with pets to protect their mattress. This will be a worth it product.

The material covers perfectly over our mattress and you can't even tell it's on the bed. Our last mattress protector always bunched up and I had to readjust it every single day prior to making the bed. This one actually stays snug no matter how much you move around in the middle of the night. The waterproof feature is what really makes this stand out. We have a little one that likes to crawl in the bed and sleep some nights and unfortunately we have had many bed wetting accidents. Usually the mattress ends up stained and there really is no way of getting that out. When that happened this time, we just had to wipe it up and our mattress wasn't messed up at all. If you have a nice mattress and you want it to stay that way, you need this protector!

It was easy to put on but the only problem was it isn't so easy to keep on if you toss and turn. It's even thinner than your basic sheet in my opinion making it too thin for a mattress pad

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This may be long but worth the read. I am NOT a professional reviewer. I just want the best for the money we spend. We recently purchased a new adjustable queen size bed with cooling gel built in. With such a large investment we wanted something to completely protect our mattress. We bought the Bamboo protector. It was heavy & my husband complained after the 1st night it made the bed too hot. He couldn't feel the cooling gel from our mattress at all & it also made noise when you moved around. We returned it & we were given the Protect - A - Bed mattress protector to try. After 2 nights on the bed I asked my husband what he thought & he loves it! He said it felt just like sleeping on the bed without any protector on it! We could feel the cooling gel from our mattress. As a rule, I change our sheets 2x a week & wash the protector bi-weekly. As luck would have it, we had TWO incidents occur. One was an Ice Tea spill on the bed & the other was our new puppy. We have two Siberian Huskies & @ 9 weeks old the puppy urinated on the bed. Only a tiny bit but NEITHER spill went thru the protector to the mattress!! The protector absorbed it all. I've had to wash it twice already for each spill & it washed perfectly. The stains came right out each time with some bleach. No shrinking, no wrinkles & it's not developing those annoying little balls that fabric sometimes gets. I also love the sides. It's made with enough room for just about any depth mattress. Our mattress is 17" deep and I do not have to struggle at all to get this protector on our bed. Every word they advertise on the back of this package about General Protection & its' advanced protection is TRUE. You can also register this product online for a warranty. If you invest in a mattress for the long haul in life, definitely invest in Protect A Bed mattress protector. When we move into our new home I will be buying more of these for every bed we have. The fact that this is made of Cotton just seals the deal. Its so soft

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a fabulous mattress protector. To be honest I wasn't sure what to expect. No true "padding" per say. There is a waterproof top that looked very well made but without a pad wasn't sure it could really protect our expensive mattress and mattress topper. The package looked premium and what drew my attention was the 10 year warranty in the upper left corner. At first glance I wasn't sure what to expect from this product. I did take it out of it's packaging and washed and dried it according to the directions. I then removed it promptly from my dryer and was surprised by the minimal wrinkling. Virtually no wrinkles!! Next I put it on top of my 10 inch memory foam mattress as well as the 3 inch memory foam topper. This protector went on much easier than my previous, and luxurious heavily padded mattress protector, with enough room to spare. This mattress protector can easily accommodate at least a 14 to perhaps even a 16 inch mattress with a topper, perhaps more! I did love how easy it was to put my fitted sheet over this mattress protector compared to my previous mattress pad. My old mattress protector was extremely heavily padded, often making it very hard to put on. For the past few nights my husband and I slept on our mattress and we both were astonished at how much cooler we slept and how much more comfortable our bed has become. Not that it wasn't comfortable before, but sleeping much cooler without being encased between heavy padding has made all the difference in the world to the both of us. After this experience I will be replacing all of our mattress protectors through out our home with these. I highly recommend this mattress protector to anyone looking for comfort, durability, and coolness all wrapped into one single mattress protector. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Protect-a-Bed mattress protector is really nice with deep corner pockets and fits my Queen size bed perfectly. I have severe allergies and I have to be careful with what kind of bedding I use. So far I haven't had any problems at all, It's soft and very comfortable. I really like the backing on the mattress pad protector, if my son crawls in my bed with his sippy cup, I'm not going to have to worry about my mattress getting ruined like my last one. I think the Protect-a-Bed mattress protector is very affordable and works great.

I've tried quite a few mattress protectors, and this one performs the best when it comes to water protection due to the thicker waterproof layer underneath. It performs the best when it comes to washing and drying as it stands up to laundry detergent and very hot drying cycles without melting, peeling, or falling apart. The surface layer is smooth, comfortable, and cool unlike the usual terry cloth surface version. This smooth surface type I haven't been able to find with any other company, trust me. It's simply the best.
