This actually tasted similar to a sundae and did not leave a nasty, chalky aftertaste when finished. The packaging was nice and when I ate it, it was the perfect amount of full post workout.

The texture was noticeably chalky, which made it a bit difficult to enjoy. Instead of the rich, indulgent sundae flavor I was expecting, it mostly just tasted like protein with a faint hint of artificial sweetness. While I appreciate the high protein content and nutrition, the taste and texture left a lot to be desired. If you’re used to protein bars and don’t mind the typical protein-heavy taste, it might work for you, but I wouldn’t reach for this one again.

Very sweet - if you are not a fan of overly sugary sweet protein bars, you might not like how rich these are. The taste is definitely giving an ice cream Sunday, with chocolate drizzle on top! I did take a browse through the ingredients, and they are pretty solid, with both milk and whey protein isolate that contributes to the 20G of protein. To me, the texture does err on the side of being a little dry and sand like, but that’s the story with a lot of protein bars so not a big deal. Overall, a good reach for a protein snack throughout the day or after a workout!

The chocolate and vanilla combination was definitely so much like an actual ice cream sundae! Since I am training for the Paralympics in Judo I am constantly looking for snacks high in protein and low in sugar so this is basically like cheating and I am here for it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I split it with my 19 year old son he says their birthday cake flavor is soooo much better 😅 and i believe him as it was just ok i would probably follow his opinion as he apparently eats them well out doing his tree job. The texture was a normal chewy grain bar. Package was sturdy and great to throw into my work bag. Not sure how effective this flavor would be but ill be finding the birthday cake instead
