Quest Nutrition Protein Bar - Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough

I’m on a ketogenic diet, which is hard because I have a sweet tooth pretty often. I saw a woman on TikTok recommend these in the air-fryer! I have to agree! I haven’t tried them without air frying them, though. I cut them into thirds and set the temperature on 350 for about 7 minutes. I think 5-7 minutes would probably be best for most people, texture wise. 7 was a little crispy, which I like. Every air-fryer is different, but this is what worked for mine and what I enjoyed!!!

Listen. I wasn’t expecting this to be good, flavor or texture wise, like most foods I try to convince myself are healthy in some form. I expected to suffer through a quick protein food and be a bit sad about it. FOLKS. Don’t do it. It took ten minutes of convincing myself it wouldn’t be too bad to get through it, and I legit feel like I’m going to puke. It’s so bad. The texture is gummy but then you chew and it turns to a kinda dusty dirt texture in your mouth. The taste is… hard to describe. On a good bite, you can imagine “whoa, maybe this resembles the idea of a cookie!” But they’re not often and it’s mostly gaslighting yourself as you try not to actually think about how it tastes. The chocolate acts as a little nice reward for every other bite but it’s not enough. I’m trying to not think about it so I don’t get more nauseated, but I needed to write this review. I hardly ever review foods but holy moly, this is one of the worst things I’ve eaten in so long. Don’t buy it. There are other things out there. Go get a good and gather protein bar, make your own, or just find any other food. I’d rather eat just about anything else but also I can’t imagine eating anything again, the thought of food is horrible. Also they cost too much and it’s just… not worth it…

Worst protein bars. If you’re just eating them for the low macros, you can suffer through, but the flavors are all awful.

Need a candy bar fix but don’t want all the sugar?? These are the best!

These are hard and chewy. Flavor is fine, texture leaves a lot to be desired.

I love the taste and the smoothness of the bas. I am very surprised on how tasty they are!

Don’t get me wrong, these are like eating cookie dough. BUT!!!, if you have acne prone skin, try something else. I haven’t changed my diet whatsoever, except for these. My acne skyrocketed. I went to the dermatologist and she said that whey protein is terrible for acne. So, hope this helps someone.

Good flavor, texture and filling

In my opinion, Quest protein bars consistently deliver good flavor, high protein, and low carbs with the added bonus of fiber. I would recommend Quest. It's become my go-to protein bar brand.

I really liked the taste. Cookie dough is my favorite flavoring and I believe quest did a great job into making this flavor part of the proteins bar pack. It’s so good and has a good amount of proteins.

These taste like flour, salt and a pinch of sugar. They are super dense in texture. I tried to finish the bar, but I just couldn't. However, I also tried the chocolate peanut butter one as well, and it was delicious!

Anybody who says this thing tastes good is a dirty liar. This tastes like playdough. The greatest obstacle I’ve ever faced was finishing this bar. I did it, but at what cost? 0/10
