A: Thank you for your question. This oil filled radiator heater is sealed and does not leak oil, so the oil will not run out in general, so there is no need to refill the oil.

A: The oil heater contains specialized thermal oil. When the thermal oil is heated, it circulates inside through the oil pipes and transfers heat to the outside via the radiator fins. This process repeats, keeping the room at a consistent temperature for heating. Therefore, the oil inside the oil heater does not need to be replaced.

Bought this oil heater this winter, and it worked great above a floor vent in a poorly insulated room. Oil heaters are much better than others because they heat the air, making the room feel warmer for the same energy cost. Adding airflow, like a small fan or placing it over a vent, boosts heating, though it may use slightly more power. Overall, the best way to heat a room!

So far, this heater is working great. I’ll update my review if anything changes, but for now, it heats my space well, and I’m hoping it stays problem-free. I bought this for the finished part of my basement, which is about 20x20 feet. It heats the space quickly and efficiently. I didn’t see a huge increase in the electric bill, so I’m pleased. The dogs also love lounging next to it!

The heater is solidly built and easy to assemble straight out of the box. Just needed a screwdriver, and within 6 minutes, I plugged it in. The room was warm and comfortable within 20 minutes. It was well-packaged and arrived quickly. Very little assembly required. Keeps generating heat consistently. Highly recommend!

I use this in my family room to keep it warm enough so the thermostat doesn’t trigger the gas furnace (since gas is so expensive here in California), at least during early winter. My solar panels power it all day, and I don’t think it uses too much electricity. Hopefully! It’s a great deal for me, cheaper than the local hardware store. It’s efficient, works well, and is easy to use and install.

Of course, the electric heaters I had been using failed after running 24/7 in subzero temperatures. This little unit handles continuous use without any issues. Find the right settings, and it keeps a small area comfortably warm. I now own two of these. The main difference is one has digital controls and a remote, but the downside is it doesn’t restart automatically after a power outage. This one has manual heat level and temperature settings and will restart at those settings, so no chilly surprises if the power goes out overnight. I keep one on LOW and the other on MED, set to 65°. Works perfectly!
