Product itself is nice enough. Slime is obviously a risk depending on the child - we're not sure if it comes out of carpet yet lol probably not. HOWEVER, each time we've ordered dolls from Target they've all had damaged boxes, not packed the best and some straight up defective (returned to store and they were confused it was mailed in that condition because it's straight up "unsellable" like that). So collectors be warned and if it's for a gift, be aware it will likely get there damaged. This doll came in an absolutely massive oversized box with one other heavy item and the tiniest piece of an air bubble... You bet the doll's box shows it, I'm confused about why it didn't go in a more appropriately sized box since I know they have one that would have reduced movement and been fine. I think this is the same size box we got when we got mailed several detergents and other large supplies... Targets standards for packing things appropriately are the lowest I've ever seen. And I've gotten broken glass from Amazon (it wasn't supposed to be broken) so it's impressive they have the lowest quality standards of any company our household has ever purchased from. Note about these dolls: this line has tinsel in the hair and it's not done really well, so expect some shedding and brush catching. Depending on the kid, you might want to go over it yourself first. Cut strands where they catch, give the hair a gentle rinse in warm-hot water and get the crunchy gel bits out. Just something to consider. Otherwise, they're nice enough. Personally, feels like much better quality than Barbie/monster high. The normal hair material is really soft and a good length if you choose to leave it down. I would recommend this doll on sale for $10-15 in store or shipped from a different retailer or for someone who doesn't care about the box / cutting out the character artwork (great kids bookmark).

Sunny has a pretty face, an interesting gimmick, and a surprisingly complex hairstyle. She has a LOT of tinsel in her hair that may not hold up well over time, but her normal hair is very soft. While her clothes are similar to her first release, these are a lot more sparkly and vibrant. The slime is alright. After following the instructions, it’s a pretty good consistency and it isn’t too sticky. It comes with A LOT of glitter. I used maybe 1/3 of it and it felt like plenty. The container did leak a little when mixing up the powder, but it didn’t make much of a mess outside of the glitter. As a doll, she’s very nice! As a Rainbow High doll, she doesn’t exactly measure up. In this set, we see a decrease in articulation with the wrists and the hip/thigh joints. The clothes are a lot more cutesy and less fashion-forward. Generally, they seem to be targeting a younger audience. That being said, I think she’s cute!

The instructions for the slime were easy enough to follow that she could do it on her own. The slime dried up fast but I was okay with that, I don't want a lot of slime around the house. She especially liked that the skin color of the doll was similar to hers🤎

She is bright and radiant which I think is what makes her so attractive to my daughter's eye! We loved it.

She really enjoyed making and playing with the slime. She said that there was a perfect amount of slime to fit into everything. The doll itself is absolutely beautiful!! The instructions were very simple - she was able to do it all on her own. When I asked her what she did not like about it, she said the only thing she didn't like was that the dolls bangs were "crunchy." It kind of felt like too much hairspray, which isn't a big deal. Other than that, there were no other complaints! She absolutely loved it!!

I used to collect these dolls with my niece and we would spend hours playing together and changing their clothes. This new line brings a few “new” features which are more like downgrades. They are no longer “fully articulated” as the description states - they don’t have articulated wrists or thighs anymore. The on-removable wrists makes it extremely hard/impossible to get them in clothing with sleeves from our existing collection so there is already incompatibility there. The tinsel in the hair keeps falling off and the slime already ruined our doll. The glitter on the face also doesn’t come off. Overall this doll is nothing like the original dolls and I would just save your money. The slime isn’t even slime, it’s a messy and gets everywhere. Not good for kids.

She is beginning to prefer devices and tween-y things over toys and dolls but she was thrilled with this Rainbow High doll because of all the fun accessories and the DAZZLE! The pet and the slime and the glitter make this doll way more than a doll and well, i much prefer this colorful and cute look to that of Bratz or Monater Highs!
