This throw is super soft but it sheds horribly!!

I received this beautiful knit throw blanket from a very dear friend when my Mother passed this past August. Before I snuggled into the soft blanket I machine washed this. I couldn't believe my eyes. This beautiful, soft blanket is ruined. It leaves yarn strands whenever I even move it. I hate the fact that this was a gift because she obviously spent around $35.00 on it. Don't list that this is machine washable, when washing it totally destoyed it!! I took photos but wasn't able to attach it. I am a 62 year old woman who knows how to wash clothes!! Thank you...

So bad!!! Sheds like crazy

The color is stunning. It is cozy and warm. However, this thing sheds like crazy. I have to throw it out. I seriously considered returning it but it has been a month.

this blanket has so many fuzzies coming off of it. It’s all over my living room and it’s very obnoxious to have to clean up even after multiple washes.

Love this blanket for our living room couches! Great texture and love how warm and stretchy it is. Only downside is that it sheds a little bit!

This blanket sheds so much it’s like having a long haired dog. It’s horrible. Pass. The only pro is that it’s soft.

It had such potential to be a beautiful blanket but it sheds like CRAZY. Anything it touches is completely covered in thin fibers and they’re actually kind of hard to remove. I need a lint roller. I even washed and dried it thinking that would remove some of the lint- it didn’t make a difference. I would not recommend purchasing this.

Perfect color and size but it sheds like crazy and got a big hole/separated threads within days of barely even using it. Going to try to return.

I love the color and the weight of this chunky knit throw. It’s perfect to toss on top of my bed or chair for a splash of autumn color. I only gave 4 stars because it has a dependency to shed.

Really pretty blanket and very warm but it sheds excessively. Like the tiniest little threads are constantly stuck to my hands, face, the couch, my phone and laptop screens, my clothing. Anything within a foot of it has wisps stuck to it.

Sheds terribly. I’ve tried several things to rectify the problem and nothing has helped. The blanket sheddings have been all over my home, clothing, hair, etc.

I’ve been looking for a throw blanket that is the perfect neutral as well as a cotton feel. I was so happy to see this at my Target store! It’s long enough to fit across the king bed and has a soft, not too warm feel. So happy with this throw!

This blanket matched my decor and the price was right. I wanted a chunky style blanket so it worked perfectly.

Beautiful throw in perfect colors for the fall. The yarn tassels and textured stripes give it personality. I can't comment on softness, warmth, or comfort as I only use them for decoration. The size is great for all types of furniture including king-sized beds. The colors and rich and blend in well with any decor.

I really love the look of this blanket, but it sheds fuzz SO BADLY all over my couch and every time it is touched that I think I will have to get rid of it. Very disappointing.
