Protect your fragile smooth top range from scratches, abrasions, and other damage using the Range Kleen StoveShield™ Smooth Top Range Cover. The StoveShield™ cover is crafted from natural rubber and polyester, which provides a cushion for your smooth top range and conceals unsightly imperfections on your smooth top when the appliance isn't in use. With the cover in place, you can safely increase your kitchen workspace while protecting your appliance top from scratches, abrasions, and other damage. The neutral black color complements most kitchens, and the generous size covers most smooth-top ranges. Between uses, the cover can be rolled together and secured with the attached fabric loops or folded for efficient storage, and the attached fabric loops double as a hanging hook for convenient storage.

Q: Can you place it on the cooktop while the burner is still warm? And, do I understand correctly, that it works as a trivet, so you can place hot pans on it?

A: Hi TestingLady, Thanks for your questions! Yes, you can use this as a trivet (can place hot pots/pans on it). This item is temperature safe up to 375˚F. You can place it on top of the smooth top/cooktop when it is warm, but not when it is hot. Please let us know if we can answer any other questions for you!

Q: Can the material of this product can be cut with scissors for a complete range top cover fit?

Purchased this Range Kleen cover for my new electric cooktop stove. I haven’t purchased a new stove for more than 25 years and I was pretty protective of it. This cover fits perfectly and is so easy to wipe clean. I actually brought another one to cover the glass top of my new washing machine also. They protect things, look good and will last for a long time. Thank you for this great product. Would highly recommend this item for those that want to protect their expensive large appliances.

I loved this cover it fit nicely on my stove. It is not heat resistant. I placed a warm pan on it and it melted.

This is what I was looking for! It rolls out easily and with no creases—something I found in other mats I found online. It stays in place and gives plenty of protection to the glass stovetop. I can now easily place items on it when I’m not using the stovetop. And I also like that the logo/name of product isn’t obnoxiously displayed. It’s in black so blends in with the rest of the mat.

I love my StoveShield! I own a Samsung Smoothtop and it fits my range perfectly! While I do love that it protects my range from possible damage (especially with cabinet full of cookbooks above it), I most often use it to extend the serving space available in my small kitchen.

Seeing is believing. Roll it out, lays flat and provides a nice protection cover that gives me the confidence to put cookware on top without fear of breaking or scratching.
