Rao's Italian Style Chicken Noodle Soup - 16oz

Significantly better quality than most canned chicken noodle soups, but not as good as I expected for Raos. It also has high sodium content

There were hardly any noodles in the soup and its super salty. Only enough for one bowl as well.

Love their pasta sauces but their soups are really bad. I saw some ppl said there was too much sodium and my experience was there wasn’t enough! I added salt bc THERE WAS NO TASTE! So bland and tasteless. I actually threw out the rest of the pasta e fagioli bc I couldn’t stand to finish it.

My husband bought was so pleased to see you folks made soup .LOVE your sauces!! Beyond good .. However HUGE amount if sodium..!! Not enough flavor.. I agree w another who felt same.. Disappointed I won't be purchasing again..must make my own ...thank you if you read and choose to change your recipe for the better ...and keep us healthier in the process.

I wasn't expecting much from a jarred chicken soup (most are mediocre at best), but based on my amazing experience with your marinara sauce (Heavenly), I thought I'd get a jar. WOW. This stuff is super tasty, VERY close to my mom's chicken soup. Definitely recommend and will be buying more.

Best chicken noodle soup! Feels very homemade and I highly recommend trying.

First off, the broth tastes way too much like lentils and not nearly enough like chicken soup. This brings down the quality of the taste. I can see why they put a bunch of sodium into this soup, as clearly they needed more salt to atone for the lack of taste. One jar is the serving size for this, which has 1,400 mg of sodium according to the label. It is misleading how they put the 1 cup size in the spot they usually put the info for the serving size, and the serving size in the spot they usually put the info for the whole jar. I understand that the serving size is the same as the jar, but it leads people to think there is less sodium. However, 720 mg of sodium is still way too much. Lastly, I cannot seem to find the instructions any where on the jar, at least not clear instructions. It would be helpful to have that readily available on the jar itself so I do not need to go looking on the website. Actually, that would have been helpful to avoid this review, as I would not have bothered reviewing if I had not already been led to the website. I hope they genuinely improve this for the future.

I bought this for my wife and she loved it! At first we tried the “Italian Wedding” soup and she didn’t like it. The chicken noodle was far superior. She was so excited that she found something she liked. Usually she spits foods out because she is so picky, but not this!

The only reason I bought this soup because it got a better rating on Yuka App. Unfortunately, it has way too much sodium. Rao needs either lower sodium or add a new line of "Lower Sodium" soups. I do not understand why they have put in 1,400mg of sodium? Why not put in as little as possible like 200mg. If someone wants more salt, they can add more sodium themselves. Sadly, I won 't be buying this products again until they lower the sodium. The first taste I took, WHOA!!! SALTY!!! What are trying to give us a heat attack? I want to taste the veggies, noddle, chicken and broth. I don't want to eat the salt itself. UGH!

It's pretty salty, like others have said. I was also disappointed in the amount of chicken. There were like 5-6 small pieces in the entire jar. Otherwise, I liked it. I didn't mind the salt amount - it was just noticeable. Also it doesn't have specific heating instructions. I heated mine from room temp for about 1:30 in the microwave and it was warm. I don't like my soup to be that hot.

Had high hopes for this, but it tastes like salty water. I discovered RAO's recently and love the other products that I've tried and was hoping that I'd like this. I was able to save it by adding some of the seasoning from a Maruchan's chicken-flavored ramen packet. But, I won't be buying this again.

Delicious , I love there sauce so I decided to give the soups a try. I loved it! Taste like homemade not too salty, just right. Will definitely buy some more.

Amazing soup. Flavor is great. Not too much salt. Ingredients are all nutritious. I love it. Just a note on nutritional facts. It shows on here that a serving is 1 Jar and its 130 calories. On the jar it says one serving is 1 cup and the entire jar is 230 calories so a jar is more than 1 serving

I am a snowbird in Florida and Cape Cod. People that were going home gave us their food in it was this soup. I had never heard of it or seen it. I got the flu and turned to this soup. It’s amazing!! It truly helped me thru 14 days of the flu. I will always have it on hand and always recommend this soup!

The soup itself was very tasty, but every bite of chicken I had tasted like tuna...which made for a very weird experience lol. Other than that I loved it!

Just had the chicken noodle soup, So good I'm impressed!

My husband was skeptical about trying another chicken noodle soup. He approves RAO'S. I agree. Best Chicken Noodle Soup on the market today.
