Description
Dominate the Marvel universe as the insatiable and sinister Venom in Marvel Villainous: We Are Venom - the first single character expansion in the Marvel Villainous line. Take on the role of the symbiote and work towards a defeating Spider-Man while fighting off iconic other Marvel Heroes as they deal twists of fate to their opponents from a shared Fate deck. Manage to overwhelm Spider-Man with your Symbiote tokens before anyone else reaches their goal and you win!

I enjoyed playing Venom. I was confused about playing the symbioate tokens. I watched a Tube Video of Wreck N Rule playing Marvel Villainous with Venom. I understood the strategy and love playing him. Venom has a fate card that makes him an anti-hero. Defeating Spider-Man using his Ozze is crazy. The game can flip on you. You never know when you will be fated. The fate cards are brutal especially Maximum Carnage.

The graphics look great and the new rules look cool to try with a dice. However, the Oogie Boogie mover does not glow in the dark. It really looks hideous if it does not look like the typical crystal-like ones. I am so sad with their quality control team in not checking the pieces. If you are ok with a false claim, go for it. If not, maybe pass this purchase.

The character expansion is super fun if you enjoy Marvel Villainous. It’s a solo character so you will need either a prior expansion or the base game. General consensus is that Twisted Ambitions (Doc Oc) is the best expansion out of all the villainous games and Malice and Mischief (Loki) is one of the weaker ones. So this+twisted ambitions is a good pairing.
