Q: Do the chairs slide under the table from the two ends? I can see the dimensions and it appears that they do, but just checking before purchasing.

With great excitement we began unboxing to start putting these pieces together. First, the bench went together beautifully, with no issues. Next, we attempted to build the table. All was good until it was time to put the legs on. The screws provided for the legs were way too long (yes I triple checked the instructions to make sure I was using the correct screws). After a trip to the hardware store to spend $11 on shorter screws, I got to work. But! The pre-drilled holes to put the legs on were not straight, so the legs are a little wonky. Next up was to built the two chairs. Started out fine, but when it came to putting the seats on, again we ran into issues with the pre-drilled holes not being straight or the correct width, so things didn't quite line up. One of the screws eventually became stripped because we were trying so hard to screw it into a crooked hole that wan't wide enough (yes, I triple checked the instructions to ensure I was using the correct screws). All in all, the furniture is comfortable and looks decent, but it was a real pain in the neck to build with the provided screws being the wrong length and poorly done pre-drilled holes.
