Q: Is it okay to use it as a repair stand?

A: Hello Batman! This unit most likely would not work as a repair stand since the bike is held up on the top tube by hooks rather than clamps.

Q: This is advertised as a vertical storage stand, but it's only shown with the bike in a horizontal position. Can you actually rotate the crossbar so that the bike can be stored vertically?

A: Hello DJ! The Stand itself is vertical, the crossbar cannot be rotated into the vertical position.
