Q: What size is the connection for the timer to a faucet? It is standard here to use 5/8". What size are the quick connect options?

A: The Ray Padula 1-Zone timer attaches to any standard outdoor faucet with 3/4" threads. Any brand garden hose, quick connects, or accessory adapters with 3/4" female threads can be attached to the outlet threads.

This thing is absolutely awful. Do not buy, find something else. This particular model isn't even on the Ray Padula website anymore. I was desperate for one, so I'm tolerating it until my Rain Bird gets here, I should have just gotten that one first.

Purchased this timer a couple of weeks ago and it works fine, don't understand why other reviews are so bad. I have it running every day with no problem and you can adjust how long it runs or how often it runs. I find it a lot easier to program than some other ones on the market. It couldn't be any more clear, it says on the dial - how often (choose days to water), how long (choose how many min or hours), start time (what time to start) and so on.. pretty easy to me! Turn the dial to On and it displays how much time left to the next watering..

Sometimes all the bells and whistles just don’t work correctly as is with this timer. I realize stores want to sell more bigger gadgets for a bigger price tag but, it isn’t worth it.

Like the other reviewer stated, this thing is a giant waste of money. Only lets you set it to go off every 2 or more days?! Bought it today and am returning it today. Don’t bother with this expensive crap.

I returned it after trying to set up this timer! It has poor instructions, and no plus or minus button to program the timer. It has 3 zeros but it is tricky to change or delete what you set up for each zone. All timers should have a plus and minus button. Wouldn’t recommend.
