A: Thank you so much for your question. The cup can be used without the lid, however we don't recommend it as there is threading on the rim, which can make it uncomfortable to drink.

Q: Do you remove the valve for use? Or do you keep both sides connected? It seems impossible to drink out of!

A: Thank you so much for your question. Yes, please keep the valve intact in order to keep it as a no-spill cup. We receommend using your pinky finger and poking it through the slit to widen the valve and allow an easier drink.

We really wanted to like this but it tries to mold constantly, the mouth piece is cheap plastic so there's microplastics coming off and if your child has teeth leaving bite marks and the inner seal will pop into the drink and leak

Thank you so much for your review. We recommend always ensuring that your cups are fully dry before reassembling. Mold grows on liquid, so if there is any liquid residue it will produce mold on the products.

Loved this at first, BUT… it does not stand up to toddler teeth. There are scratches on the lid that are peeling and I can only assume my kids are ingesting what is scratching off. And if you leave the water in there long enough, it will taste like plastic. I mean, it is still plastic so it will act like plastic.

This is not spill proof. I bought this to have a spare sippy cup on our travels, and this new grid lock design is flawed. Every time we fill it up, the cup spills. The old screw system was spill proof and the new random grid lock lids are useless.

They were good for about a year. Now the plugs have gotten loose and they just start steadily dripping. I've had to wash my sons sheet multiple times a week because I'll come in to find a milk puddle on his bed after his naps. So once again I'm on the search again for truly leak proof sippy cups

It's not orange. It's pink. Now my sons drink from pink cups. Also if you don't like slurping sounds don't buy. The suction causes it to be pretty loud.

I absolutely love this cup. The valve tends to slip or pop off very often. A bit frustrating. But if it wasn't for the silly valve falling off all the time; These would be our go to for 100% of the time. Easy to wash. My toddler can hold easily. Fits in carseat cup holders and stroller cup holders. Top rack dishwasher safe.
