It makes a realistic noise that my son loves. Long battery life. This toy is providing hours of entertainment in our household. My little boy loves to help out with jobs, and this toy allows him to feel as if he is pitching in. I highly recommend this toy, and the brand.

It has working plastic blades that go back and forth and a red - orange light that makes it more realistic as there squeezing the handle. Definitely very realistic for the imagination and pretending. Very safe and durable. Easy to hold and battery operated. Can be used inside or outside.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can not begin to say how cute this Stanley Jr. Battery Operated Hedge Trimmer is. My husband works as a tree trimmer. So he works with these kinds of tools all the time, and of course, the kids always want to be like their daddies, so being able to get them their own little toy trimmer is just wonderful. My son absolutely loves this. The movement of the blade area, the light, and the sound make it seem so realistic. It fits so well in his little hands and is lightweight and easy to carry around. He really feels as if he is doing just what his dad is doing. Hands down awesome toy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love that this toy is marketed as being for both boys and girls. Toys shouldn’t be gendered! My 5yr old and 2yr old girls love following dad around the yard pretending to trim the bushes. Loads of fun!
