Okay, so I gave Hershey’s chocolate another try… and honestly? It just doesn’t compare to European chocolate. It’s super sweet, but kind of lacks that rich cocoa flavor I love. If you’ve had Swiss or Belgian chocolate before, you’ll know what I mean. It’s not awful, but definitely not my favorite.

The more the merrier! My favorite out the assortment is the Reese’s. The smooth texture of the chocolate and peanut butter never fails. And if I want something different I have other options.

I am mostly satisfied with this assortment of chocolate candy bars. I'm not a big fan of the Hershey's chocolate bar but I will eat it if I desperately need a chocolate fix. My favorite is Reese's peanut butter cups.

We had some leftovers after the party and they've maintained their quality sitting in our pantry for the past week. My husband may or may not be sneaking one each night after dinner (the rapidly disappearing peanut butter cups are a dead giveaway). There are a few minor drawbacks - the box isn't resealable, so once opened you need to transfer leftovers to another container. Also, the ratio seemed to favor the regular milk chocolate bars, with fewer of the specialty ones that tend to be more popular. The price per bar works out to be slightly higher than buying them individually when on sale, but the convenience factor of having an assortment ready to go made it worth it for me.
