Q: Why does this not work with a King size bed? Trying to understand how these bed rails work!

A: It should work with King Size bed. The box springs are in two pieces which are the size of twin bed. You would hook the straps in the middle on the box spring on which side you want the rail. The straps are adjustable.

A: I guess it depends on the style of bed rail. It does not work on ours! We have to figure something else out, or we'll need to return it.

Q: would this work at the foot of a full size bed? are the straps long enough to reach from the foot to the head of the bed? (75 inches)

A: No, this is meant to be used on a twin to queen size bed going on the side of the bed from left to right or right to left. This will not work from head to foot or foot to head of the bed.

A: No, this does require a box spring and mattress in order to function properly.

Q: Can this be used on a crib with one side off as a toddler bed?

A: It does work but it is the whole length of the crib so there isn't a gap for your toddler to get out. If the mattress is at the lowest level, there is a metal bar in the way so it won't fit then.

When we unboxed it, it was used and had what looked like orange Cheeto dust on the side buttons that won’t come off. You also cannot have a platform bed with this. You need a box spring. We will be returning this.

I bought my toddler a new twin bed and had it all assembled and ready to go and installed this bed rail and noticed that there was an extra screw placed on the side, right where the piece locks in. It was impossible to get the pieces to assemble properly because of this awkward screw. I jammed it in there and rigged it so it was sturdy, but it was very frustrating and not functional. I would have returned it except my son was super excited to sleep in his big boy bed for the night. Visually its a good rail and long enough to where he can't fall out.

When I finally received this bed rail it was USED! It was dirty and the box was repackaged with packing tape! I returned it to the store and had to find another to purchase! So disappointed with this, the girl at customer service said its shipped directly from the manufacturer and was shocked yet she didn't even look at the bed rail itself.

The reason that I gave only four stars to the Regalo bed rail was the unclear directions for assembling it. Once assembled, the bed rail performed very well for two toddlers sleeping in a queen-sized bed. We pushed one long side of the bed to the wall and put the bed rail on the other long side. We did not attempt to use the swing-down feature of the bed rail as both children were able to climb off the bed by themselves.

It works pretty well and the set up was easy. The swing rail has hooks attached that you have to hook to the other side of the mattress and tighten the slack in order for the rail to stay. Swinging it down and up is super simple too. Worth the price!

Easy to assemble. Tucks under mattress. Keeps my almost 2-year-old grandson from falling off a twin bed. He climbs out of cribs and this keeps him safe while sleeping in a regular bed. He can still exit the bed as the bedrail isn't as long as the mattress but he won't roll off while sleeping. One side of the bed is tucked against a wall and the other has the bedrail attached. Not sure I'll use the flip down part of this bedrail; it's easier to just lift the child up and over.

Didn't work for my crib that turned into a toddler bed attachment doesn't attach well.... because it doesn't use a box spring like a regular bed , will still keep it for when it turns into a twin bed
