Q: How does a baby stay secure? It looks like the baby will slip down.

A: As this product is intended to be used with babies up to 3 months of age, the parent/guardian would be there to help ensure that the baby doesn't slip down. The back is also made of silicone which will also help in preventing the baby from sliding.
