Q: Is the floor dimmable torch light switch easy to operate with the foot? Does this light turn off? Will standard LED light bulbs work or do you have to use dimmable?

A: Hello - yes, the floor switch is quite easy to operate with your foot, and it does turn the lights on and off. For the top light dimmer you will have to use dimmable LED bulbs. Most newer LED bulbs are dimmable, but check the details on the bulb packaging just to be sure. Thank you for the questions!

The product got here timely and we'll packaged so nothing was broken. My biggest complaint is the quality of the lamp itself. The decorative metal curves are not straight, can't be straighted and make the lamp feel crooked at all angles. It's easier to keep it rather than take it all apart, Redbox it and hope the replacement is any better. Quality control was not a factor when this was made.

I'm not sure it's worth $250, but it's fairly nice. Maybe $150-180, tops; at $250, I'd rate it 3.5 stars really. Be aware that the "crackle" portion is just plastic (and not even very nice plastic), even though the photos make it seem as though that portion is glass. If it was glass, it would be more worth the price. That portion of the lamp looks much better in the pictures than in person. Also, the glass has an embossed pattern on all of it; it's only clearly visible on the smaller glass shades in the pictures, but the pattern is also on the larger shade. Putting it together was easy, but we couldn't ever get one of the rings on the smaller lamps to tighten completely. We'll see how that holds up over time. If you can get it on sale, go for it.

Beautiful light. I loved the dimming feature. Worked for about a year until the switch for the upper part stopped working. No replacement wiring available and of course, warranty had ended.. [...] Not worth the money if only half of it ends up working.
