Q: Can you make this a touch lamp to go on and off?
A: Hi - there might be some third-party kits that will make a lamp a touch lamp, but we are not aware of any at the moment. If you are looking for added functionality you might want to consider adding a line cord dimmer switch. This give you easy access to the on-off control, plus allows you to use the dimmer to set the light level to a wide range of levels. Thank you for the question.

Q: Is this a dimmable lamp?
A: Hi - these lamps do not have built-in dimmers, but you can use a line-cord dimmer with them. If you plan on using LED bulbs with your cord dimmer just make sure the bulbs are dimmable and that the dimmer is LED compatible. Thank you for the question!

Q: is this a 3 way lamp
A: Hi - the lamps can use up to a 150 watt bulb and have an on-off socket switch, not a 3-way switch. If you'd like the 3-way functionality we'd suggest using a line cord dimmer. This will give you many morre lighting options than a 3-way bulb. Thank you for the question.

Q: Is the color of the shade beige or more of an off white? Are there any beige tones in the lamp. I have a grey couch but looking for something with some beige in it. Does the resin material feel cheap?
A: Hi - the finish on this is not a solid gray, so the lamps do have brown-beige accent tones on them that should play well with your couch color. The resin construction does feel cheap in our opinion and has a beautiful visual look. Hope this helps! Thank you for the questions.

Q: Anyone think a person could add a little spray paint the base of the lamp?

Q: What is the texture of the lamp drums? And does the color have a slight orange/rust tint to it? The description says "Light terra cotta finish" which usually means an orange tint, but the picture looks gray.
A: Hi Bonnie - the shades do have a slight texture to them, somewhat like a rough linen to the touch. The bases have a slight rust bronze shading to them. The overall look is a more of a light gray, as you say. Hope that helps! Thank you for the question!
