Can't remove the shaving head to swap to the trimmer. Tiny diagram shows how to do it, but it simply doesn't work! Actual trimming of the beard works fine.

The razor is easy to use. Vacuum works great and makes for less mess!

This trimmer is not nearly as good as a comparable one I used for years from another company (Philips) that needed to be replaced. I’m dissatisfied with this Remington and will continue to look for the same Phillips model I had used previously.

The good: Really incredible in that it actually sucks up the vast, vast majority of hairs. It's not any more noisy than my previous trimmer, which was a cheap Norelco trimmer. The charge holds well and all is pretty good. The Bad: The trimmer is much bulkier than my previous trimmer, as a result it's hard to get directly under nostrils, as such it doesn't trim well directly under my nose and that part is thicker than the rest of my beard, so it looks like I have a subtle Hitler mustache, which I don't enjoy. I use my old trimmer for that portion just to de-Adolf myself.

Great product. The adjustable head could be a little easier to control but that doesn’t diminish from its performance.

The vacuum feature works well. However, after following the instructions and charging prior to my first use the battery died or the motor stalled/locked up. I spent a day turning the shaver on until I completely drained the battery and then tried again charging over night. So far the trimer has not stalled again. The beard guide works well and snaps into place and is locked there which is better than my previous trimmer which could slide out of place if you were not carful. The unit is very long and then even longer when the detail trimer is attached. The detail trimmer is the biggest source of frustration aside from the anxiety I have that the trimmer will lock up again. With he detail trimmer attached you either have to have an unruly amount of length between you and your beard, or choke up your grip and block the air vent, decreasing the efficacy of the vacuum. Also the detail trimmer seems dull or weak, it snags and pinches the skin on my neck pretty badly. For the price I guess I am not super shocked, that something sucked but it is a drag that I may need to get another detail trimmer. But the Vacuum works well and that keeps my girlfriend happy and saves me clean up time. If you already have a detail trimmer that works and you want to be more tidy when you trim maybe consider this, but if this going to be your only trimmer and you do any kind of fine or edge work this is not the tool for you.

This trimmer is a perfect example of poor design, bad manufacturing and perfect advertisement! After first and only use of trimmer top part cracked, I noticed it when finished cutting. in order to empty vacuum in the middle of cut you need to disassemble almost entire unit, then assemble all parts back to continue your cutting. because of it you need to readjust cutting length again using scale with tiniest numbers against tiniest pointer! Doing that you need to push green color button which got broken on the first session I used trimmer! Terrible experience! Surely will go back to Norelco products

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really tried to love this product. I finally realized, I love the concept, but am not impressed with the quality. This razor provides a great cut, and gets very close to the skin, helping with the stubble, however, the vacuum feature is less than I desire. The vacuum had a hard time collecting hair, especially more coarse and shorter hairs. It is tedious to clean and the power seems significantly lower than my other Remington shaving products.

I would sometimes just skip trimming because my past trimmer wasn't giving me the look I wanted. This one is so easy to use and you can get a trim custom to what you want. I prefer a closer trim and it's so easy and much less time consuming. It is also comfortable to hold which makes trimming easier. I highly recommend it. It has made my life so much easier.

It doesn't snag and pull like I have experienced with others in the past. The best part of all is the fact that it vacuums up as you shave!! My wife LOVES this feature!!! No more hair to clean up. No matter how much I try, I always miss some. FYI: This does not vacuum 100% of the hairs. However, it does get 95% of the hairs! Good enough for me. I just wipe up the tiny little bit and I am done!! Usually I am spending as much time cleaning my mess as I am shaving. Not anymore!!! We plan on buying one for my dad for Father's Day this year! It is the perfect gift!! I highly recommend this shaver!!!!

That is so great! It trims really well, comes with all the needed attachments, and charges quick and lasts a good amount of time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Product works as described , I did notice that the vacuum chamber were the clipped hair is collected is on the smaller size for those guys with large beards , you will be emptying it more often than not. But it does eliminate the mess in the bathroom sink, instead now you just dump the chamber in the trash and continue on shaving/grooming your beard. Interesting concept , I would say it's worth a try if you have a beard that you maintain on a daily basis and are tired of the mess in the bathroom sink and are looking for something new.

I love that it cleans itself up, he doesnt care to see all the hair in the sink that can freak him out sometimes. This is a great shaver and it makes my life easier for sure.

The self-sharpening, washable blades are a plus. Various settings on the adjustable comb to trim to many different lengths. Great charge length before needing to recharge. Nothing to dislike really. Quite satisfied.
