Q: Digging the hole for the sleeve is 24” down, how big of a radius does it need to be for the gravel and concrete? I assume I receive my post, there will be instructions for all that.

A: We recommend a 9 inch radius from the middle of the pole to the edge of the hole, meaning an 18 inch diameter hole.

Q: I moved to a new home. How can I contact the manufacture to order another ground sleeve?

A: As the hammock poles are packaged and sold as a kit, the only way to have just the ground sleeve sent to you would be to open up a kit resulting in the rest of the kit being unsaleable. Therefore, unfortunately you will need to order an entire new kit to get what you are looking for.

Q: How difficult is it to insytall? do you need cement?

A: It is as difficult as digging a hole, and if desired, mixing and pouring concrete. Concrete is not required, but may be desired for a more stable base.

Q: I see that the pole is 76.5 in tall but how much of that is above ground once its anchored?

A: The smaller pole that goes into the ground is 24 inches. When the upper pole part is inserted it should leave roughly 52 inches above the ground.

This works perfectly for what we needed. Attached one side of the hammock to a tree and used this pole for the otherside. It is strong and does not bend. Only problem is it arrived with the black top cap smashed and broken off.
