Q: Is the interior waterproof?

A: I stored my furniture cushions in the boxes for a year and they were always dry, so I guess so! - as long as it's shut all the way.

A: It was a challenge- we wound up almost snapping a piece off because we put some parts together incorrectly. Nice piece though- keeps cushions and pillows dry under covered porch

Q: Does it lock? Can you sit on it?

A: The deck box does not come with a padlock. I don't see how you could lock it. We don't sit on ours because we did not want it to lose it's shape. My personal opinion is that if you are a smaller person it would not be a problem. Kids could certainly sit on it.

I am giving this item a pooR review because it does not come with instructions and there was no way to attach the lid to the box. The metal rod included did not have the proper holes to slide through. The overall quality of the box is good but the lid will not attach properly because there are no holes for the rod to go through.

Beautiful and snaps together. Looked up you tube video to follow instructions. You do need a strong person to snap it together. I bought a table and chairs from amazon and it looks like the storage box and table and chairs are a set although different company for each item. Nice and roomy and I am very happy.

This medium size deck box is great! Like all Suncast products that I've had, it's solidly made and looks very nice in the brown rattan-look. The instructions for assembly were a bit confusing but I found a YouTube video that made it super easy to put together. Be sure to lay out the pieces first and read all the instructions first (or watch the entire video first) because some parts didn't assemble as I would have guessed. It looks like this piece will last many years. (I'm replacing a very old Suncast deck box.)

I like this box. I already have one and ordered another. Unfortunately when it arrived, it was missing parts (found out AFTER we put it together). So we spent an hour putting it together and taking it apart, we had to drive to the store to return it. The box itself is great but wish they would check the packaging to avoid wasting customers' time.

The box arrive, opened it, put it together and placed it in the screen room for all the pool equipment, and chemicals! I love that they are contained and out of view in this very nice Deck Box!! Great purchase, easy to put together (I did it myself while husband was at work!)

This deck box is great! It's sturdy and large enough to hold 8 seat cushions. I was able to put it together by myself without any help from my boyfriend. Instructions were well written and easy to follow. I'm so glad I didn't spend $100+ on a different brand. So happy with this purchase!!!!

Very easy to put together insctructions we're simple took less then 30 minutes to assemble. Had a lot of rain after I set it up outside and none got inside so my cushions stayed dry. And looks very nice on the deck would definitely recommend.

The box came together fairly easily and looks nice. It also seems to be keeping our outdoor cushions dry and clean. We were able to fit 4 back cushions and 4 accent pillows in the box. The 4 matching seat visions were a bit too big for the box unfortunately. So we have stacked them indoors when not in use.
