Good value. Does the job. Does get stuck sometimes and makes noise, but overall, okay for daily walks.

Don’t buy broke after two months. We have a Shih Tzu that only weighs 16 pounds And she doesn’t tug a whole lot.

It retracts fine and the locking is good. All of the reviews saying that there isn't a locking feature, there is one. The light gray area around the stopping button slides forward to lock it and you slide it back to unlock. For retractable leashes I always size up one because I like them a bit more stable. I like that this leash is reflective. I only use a retractable leash for potty time not walking and it serves its purpose well

You have to hold down button if you dont want it to extend all the way. No way to lock it in place to custom length. Returning it.

I’ve had about half a dozen retractable leashes over the years for multiple dogs (full size- Lab and Newfoundland) and this leash is as good of quality as any others, including the much more expensive ones that have broken! The only thing I don’t like is that it is the heaviest one I’ve had- not too heavy, but heavy nonetheless (that’s the only reason I docked 1 star). Good things: very smooth retraction, feels really nice to hold (feels like an expensive ergonomic design!!), easy/intuitive to push stop/hold button, has reflector material, great low price, neutral color- looks expensive/high quality, and has oddly stayed remarkably clean.

Don’t buy this leash if you expect a locking feature, it doesn’t have one. You have to hold the button down the entire time to control your dog’s range, which is frustrating and impractical. Look for a leash with a proper locking mechanism instead.

My favorite leash for my dog! Really like how it’s not a thin cord strap because if your dog circles your legs it won’t cut into your skin like the wire-like ones do! Durable product for a reasonable price!

leash is nice but as i pulled more leash out, there was this purple weird goo on the fabric. super strange.

Loved it while we had it! Very stylish. Not dog friendly. She chewed right through it with basically one bite. Used it five times.

This leash has been great with leash training our newly rehomed dog. It’s easy to lock and unlock, and never slips out of the locked position accidentally. The handle is comfortable. We haven’t seen any wear from use to any of the parts after using it almost daily for two months now.

Looks great and works just like I expected.

Perfect size leash for my 10 pound chihuahua, we purchased the small and it has held up nice, we also have purchased the medium for out 30 pound rescue and he pulls on his leash and it has also held up great for him!

Remember to take the time to learn how to stop the leash. You need to push the button forward.👍🏻💁

My dog chewed on the leash part a couple times during a walk and it's holding on by a thread. Not as sturdy as I would have liked it. The locking feature also got stuck a couple times. I've only used it once.

Small enough for our Shih-tzus yet large enough and comfortable in my husbands and my hands. We bought one after getting a new puppy and another after a previous one broke. Both work well and are easy to hook and unhook from our pups’ collars.
