Retro Nightstand with 2 Drawers, Bedside Table with Classic Design-ModernLuxe

I bought two of these to use as nightstands in my new bedroom. They were just the right size and color and seemed to be of good quality per the online sample photos. Unfortunately when I opened the box, it was clear that these are of very poor quality, and they almost look as if an amateur made these in their garage or basement using a cheap CNC machine. The stain on each piece is applied sloppily and is very uneven over all surfaces, even bare in spots, some areas need another coat of stain, other spots have a buildup of bubbly dried stain. On top of that, the materials used are MDF and crappy plywood so the stain looks really bad. They should have just used paint! There are also lots of obvious scratches and dings on areas meant to be visible once the nightstands are assembled. It wouldn’t be such an issue if the dings/scratches were on non-visible areas, such as inside the drawers or inside the legs of the nightstands, but even if the scratches/dings didn’t exist, there’s still the major problem of the uneven stain. Very poor care, crappy materials, and very poor quality control, if any, went into manufacturing these nightstands. Major disappointment considering each nightstand cost over $130 ON SALE. I bought them thinking I’d be getting well-made items but I should’ve known better. Returning these ASAP. I would not recommend purchasing this item.
