A: I use it to dye my eyebrows. I’ve used both professional and box hair dyes for 20 years without ever having a problems. I have tried mens beard dye but I don’t like it. When coloring my hair, regardless of what brand, I pour the color and developer into a professional round plastic bowl and mix with a professional brush. I don’t like trying to color hair using the bottles provided in most box dyes. Let the coloring sit for 5-10 minutes so it thickens. Put a small amount on the end of one side of the brush. You can always add more. You don’t want it to drip. Carefully brush upward on your eyebrow. Have some Q-tips available so you can wipe off any extra. Don’t use Q-tips to remove any extra dye; use the brush instead. The “ can go blind” is a disclaimer against idiots who won’t use it carefully. Again, I put a very small amount on the brush for my eyebrows, I use Q-tips to wipe excess off the top and bottom, and if needed, I use the brush to thin out dye that’s too thick on eyebrows. Never once had the dye fall, drop or come close to my eyes. NOTE: I always keep eye wash nearby as a precaution.

A: Does this occur only with this specific type of Revlon coloring? If it was an allergic reaction, you’d be itching regardless of your posture. That said, you could be sensitive to the ingredients. Try an other brand and if no itching, stop using this brand.

A: Probably because you are having an allergic reaction, or you applied to a broken/irritated scalp. I would do a patch test next time with hair dye because you may be allergic.
