I have never truly dyed my hair and find this to be a perfect inbetween! It leaves my hair texture feeling wonderful while dropping some darker more even pigment. I wish they sold the serum separately so I could smell that good daily

I have bought ColorSilk Hair coloring for 40 years. Purchased this new Colorsilk product because it states it lasts up to 28 washes. Well, I am on my 6th wash, and I need to color my hair again. It has only been 2 weeks. This product does not work, and I would never purchase this again.

Just tried this new dye from Revlon. It does say if you have a head full of grey it may not work as well. Well I was just covering some roots so I thought I’d be fine. Not the case. I can actually still see the grey roots slightly!! Also it doesn’t give directions for doing roots only. Back to Schwartzkoff (spelling?) for me. Wastes of time and money.

Hello Revlon, I am sorry to report that your product Colorsilk (tone+Gloss+Care) product has not worked well for me. Although your package cover mentions that there are 90% natural origin ingredients, use of your product results in increases in hair fall after use and the hair fall subsides to normal levels after 3 days approximately. I am not convinced that the product would be good for anyone. I recommend you remove the product and modify compositions to avoid such adverse effects before reintroducing them into the market. Could you please provide me the following additional information? (1) A list of 5 products with similar compositions. (2) Please state if there would be any differences if your the developer+colorant are used without conditioner+serum. (3) Please provide results of your lab testing to claim that the use of the product prevents hair fall. And provide any comparative laboratory tests performed in establishing safety standards for use of such products. (4) Please provide an update on the action items at the earliest possible. Thank you!

As a HAPPY, decades long user of ColorSilk (every 2-3 weeks), I am very familiar and pleased with the product. Soooo…I was excited to try the new “Demi” permanent color that touts lasting up to 28 shampoos. I’ve washed my hair twice since coloring and it’s as if I never used. I won’t say my gray is showing completely but it’s so faded and washed out it might as well be. I’m so disappointed, especially since you can’t get a refund on a consumable product. I’ll be curious to read reviews from others to see if they have similar experiences. I predict this product will “fade away” unless it’s reformulated.

I used the burgundy color because I was sick of my green hair. I was not expecting it to not only completely cover the dark green but somehow turn it dark purple. My hair is soft and shiny and still a somewhat fashion color while being less unusual.

Toned my hair like a dream. I used light brown over some serious outgrowth and highlights. The color is nice and I love that it will fade over washes instead if being a harsh, permanent color I have to keep up with. I used 2 bottles for my long, thick hair. I applied it to my ends first, and then my roots for 10-ish minutes. The conditioner & serum are nice too. This was perfect for a temporary hair refresh until I want to get my highlights touched up professionally.

I have never, in my entire life, had issues with hair loss. I have always prided myself on having thick and long dark hair. I used this color gloss one time EXACTLY as directed on the box and clumps of my hair fell out. It clogged my shower drain three times with how much hair I lost just trying to rinse it out. I am still losing my hair months later, and have spent tons of money on products to try and fix my hair. My hair is about halfway gone from what it used to be, and every time I take a shower more comes out even months later. PLEASE please please do not use, I wish I saw a review like this before buying. I nearly cry every time I brush my hair now. Just LOOK at Tik tok or Google or other social medias. This product ruins hair.

Doesn’t work. I usually use Revlon colorsilk hair dye which I love. I gave this one a try. It doesn’t work. I tried this one. I followed all the steps and used shampoo for color treated hair. Most of the dye washed out.

This is an amazing demi- permanent color. As a hair stylist of 9 years, I love using this to color my wigs. It’s a cheaper alternative to the professional products I would normally use and works very well to deposit color without permanent change. I’m looking at these comments of people being upset that it didn’t cover their grays. It’s not meant to, this is to give a nice deposit of color that is your hair color or darker. At best you will get gray blending that will wash out with each shampoo. Works great when you use it as intended!
