Q: If I put 2 together for the appearance of 1 long unit - will they butt together without a gap? Also can the open shelves be in any position or only in the middle?

A: Hello, As the legs are tilted a bit, so sure there will be a gap. For the middle shelves it can only be in the middle as this section in larger, so can't be in any other position.

Q: Are there shelves in the closed cabinets and if so, how many? Do you push the doors to open them or to you need to install handles?

A: Hi, thank your for your question. There is one shelf per closed cabinet, these shelves are adjustable to accommodate storage. The doors fonction with hinges installed on the doors and are easy to open without needing handles. Hope this helps!
