These drums arrived with a clean slice through the top of the drum. I didn't open them when they arrived, I put them aside for Christmas and the tear was revealed when my daughter opened them on Christmas morning. The 'skin' is very thin paper like material. I ordered them just outside of the return period so I am out the cost. Pay more for a 'real' drum that is more durable.

Good bongos for young children. Well made for the price but the sound isn’t quite right. Good enough for them to have fun though!
