A Classic must have for all Children ages 1 and up! I have been buying this book now on my second generation Nieces and Nephews and it is as beloved as ever! Purchased 2 this Christmas 2 year old great Niece and Great Nephew. Characters are wonderful. Great for teaching vocabulary. Fun on every level. So much too see & read never gets boring. I'm glad I made it a family tradition. Target was the best price. Shipping was free and fast! Highly recommend.

My son received this and other Richard Scarry books as a child.....he loved them so much, the binding came off of one of them. I kept them all these years, and now I have a grandson and wanted to share the books. Since the binding came apart on his favorite (Best Word Book), I was happy to find these books at Target and purchased the Best Word Book and several others. They are great because they have so much information and even little ones can see the picture and point to the word, sound out the words and learn about language in an easy and fun way.

This is a nice, large version of the book but it is not exactly the one pictured. Although it is published by Golden Books, the one I received does not have the golden colored spine shown in the picture.
