Q&A(11)

Q: Are the glasses dishwasher safe?

submitted by Rob - 2 years ago
  • A: I have used Riedel wine glasses for years. I have always put them on the top dish washer rack. Never an issue!

submitted byMA - 1 year ago
  • A: Yes you can! However I've always washed mine by hand and wiped dry with a soft flour sack towel. I've found that glasses eventually get a unpleasant build up from the soap chemicals used in dishwasher

Q: Is the name Riedel typically engraved on the glass as a trademark of their work?

submitted by apatt - 6 years ago
  • A: Hi There! Thank you for being a valued RIEDEL customer. Yes, RIEDEL glassware will always include the name logo on the base. Kind Regards, The RIEDEL Online-Team

Q: Can this be used as a universal glass for reds and whites? If not, is there another one you’d recommend?

submitted by jms - 4 months ago
  • A: We recommend you use them for red wine for maximum enjoyment, but Riedel's philosophy is that you use the glass that works best for you. So if red and white taste great to you in that glass, you can use it for both.

  • A: Hello! Riedel's wine glasses feature laser-cut polished rims, so as to smoothly direct the flow of wine onto the tongue.
